Just a budget ($30-$40 preferably) deck, interested in bouncing Gonti, but mainly in playing around with artifacts. I still feel like I could do more with the deck though, but my strong dislike for infinite combos limits some win conditions that I might otherwise go for on the low budget.

Just for some context on my playstyle, I very much enjoy either the path of Venser's Journal or Midnight Oil, and love the polar opposite playstyles that they look like they would lead to in a vacuum, but both work together wonderfully if you realise that they basically just let you draw and gain life.

Key combinations include Animation Module+Decoction Module+Fabrication Module to just pump out energy and counters and creatures, which then get sacrificed to Throne of Geth or Trading Post to recur Gonti and other strong artifacts. You might note that many of the subthemes exist to either supplement Gonti's drops from an opponent's deck, or to let Gonti activate his ability as much as possible.

The deck has a single win condition; Demon of Dark Schemes, and a few large six or seven drops, but it mainly relies on drawing something good from an opposing deck, which in my current meta is quite likely.

It has a single strong controlling option; Knowledge Pool, which begins to rapidly limit each player's possible spell choices, but lets me continue casting from Gonti's exile pile, which leaves me which a huge advantage, especially if played nearing a solid board state of mine with Conjurer's Closet and Panharmonicon for example. Strangely I think this might be the only deck where I would run Knowledge Pool with only one colour of mana, because I am rarely interested in casting other's cards from it.

If you have any suggestions, of good black cards to do with graveyard retrieval that hopefully works on artifacts as well as just creatures (my value artifacts are some of the decks only ways of maintaining some sense of consistency), or if you have cool ways to bounce Gonti around and keep him protected, then just dump them in the suggestions list. My knowledge of mtg is quite pitiful I must admit, so many cards are completely new to me. I tried to garner what I could from gatherer keyword searches, but there are pretty hard limits as to how far that can get.
