One of my first decks was an Islandwalk Leviathan Deck, from the Kiora vs Elspeth box. Xolatoyac is the answer for "how would I run this as a commander deck?". I am absurdly excited to see what I can do with the biggest creatures of the deep.

Board Interaction: The deck has the minimum number of cheap bordwhipes (4-5 mana) and spot removal (counter spells, targeted removal). The combination of Blue Green means these are all unconvential options like polymorphs, return to hand, or counter spells, but there is just enough to get the job done. There are a few additional expensive board whipes as well, but they function more like win conditions than board control.

Mana Ramp: The deck packs 40 lands (36-40 considered normal) with 12 ramp cards (10-15 a common reccommendation). While that might seem extensive, it guarantees consistency. There are a large number of cycling lands in the deck if you do manage to ramp up past 10 mana.
