A lot of control decks require you to play hate bear effects, or untap and pass fairly often. With Hidetsugu and Kairi, you can fully tap out on your turn and still have responses thanks to its death trigger! Instant speed shenanigans have never felt better, like Mystical Tutoring Rise of the Dark Realms to the top of your library in response to your friend's Toxic Deluge, or using Razoketh to cast something off the top for free while grabbing a free counterspell to stop your other friend from winning.

The only thing this deck can't do is apologize to the friends you just lost because you played it so well.
