From cantrips to control Octavia, Living Thesis gives you the option of taking over the game. The greatest part about this commander is that it can be a fully functioning deck with a bunch of cards you have laying around. My deck started this way and slowly became more refined.

The main focus of this deck is to play low CMC cards to get 8 instants and/or sorceries in the grave. With Octavia's cost reduction online bring her into the fight. Players will quickly have to change their play styles to deal with her. Her ward 8 is easily over looked but is the reason why she is able to stay on the battlefield. At first I was a sceptic, but now I don't even use Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots.

There's two main ways this deck tries to win. Either by commander damage or infect damage. With your creatures becoming evasive 8/8's it is easy to take an opponent out of the game. Add a few cards that make your creatures unblock-able it becomes even easier.

At first I made this deck as a gimmick, but I quickly saw the potential behind it. It is a really fun deck that is out-of-the-box for blue. This deck showed me that blue doesn't have to be heavy counter spells and control magic to win. The only "non-fun" card in this deck is Back to Basics. Even the expensive cards like Mana Drain and Intuition can be substituted out and the deck still runs great. I strongly recommend players to give this deck a try if they are looking for a fun blue deck that can still holds its own.
