If you replace Solemn Simulacrum and Oath of Lieges with any cards with activated abilities, you could switch Zirda, the Dawnwaker with another legendary creature with an activated ability like Basandra, Battle Seraph, Brion Stoutarm, Razia, Boros Archangel, or Tajic, Legion's Edge, and just have Zirda as your companion. But Zirda will also be very vulnerable since you can't recast her from the command zone if she gets removed, but if you play Brion Stoutarm you could just sac her when she gets targeted, and just use one of the many white recursion spells to bring her back. If you so choose to lean into the Sunforger side of the deck though, you could easily play Kykar, Wind's Fury as the commander, and just run extra protection spells that you could pull out of the deck using Sunforger such as Eerie Interlude, and Razor Barrier, or counterspells like Render Silent and Hindering Light. I think I might build something like that soon!

Greater Auramancy is good in a deck with so many high-impact enchantments, including your combo commander. Faith's Shield Razor Barrier , and Devoted Caretaker can guard either half of your combo.

I really hope they don't overcost cards just to support a gimmick that I don't care about. A minor effect and draw a card is a 1 mana ability a la Gitaxian Probe. Instant speed Threaten costs 5 Act of Aggression, Turn Against. Apostle's Blessing correlates directly with Razor Barrier. Dismember is in an odd place because there are few cards that do -5/-5 at instant speed Pull Under does it for 6 but is common, Executioner's Swing does it for 2 but has conditions and is common, Grasp of Darkness does -4/-4 for 2 at uncommon. Overall -5/-5 at instant speed for 3 cmc seems about average for the effect. Up until this point a Phyrexian mana has had the same effect on power:mana as any other type of mana. If they do all of a sudden decide that Phyrexian mana shouldn't count as a full mana for power:mana comparisons they are going to end up printing a lot of awful cards.

+1 for a fellow Kalemne player. I run a pretty similar deck, maybe a little more Voltronish, and Sunforger is an MVP for me. Most of the tweaking I've done is to the instants it can grab.
Apostle's Blessing , Argivian Find , Razor Barrier , Overblaze , Disenchant , Path to Exile , Swords to Plowshares , and Enlightened Tutor are all great choices that do a variety of things: protect her from hate, clear a path for an attack, or grab something else that you need.
