Paladin en-Vec Discussion

Solid list! I'm almost jealous you have all the beefy boi swords. I like that you aren't focusing on a voltron build. It can certainly end up going for the commander damage but Gwyn really shines with the other knights so you can increase your synergy and crazy shenanigans with the free equipping. This deck seems to have the same kind of synergy goals that mine has and I've had quite a bit of success with it so I'm sure you will too!
I first second the need to include Puresteel Paladin and Leonin Shikari, they have more than earned their value for me. I would maybe suggest considering Phyrexian Crusader for either a potential win-con or for target fodder to protect your other knights. Paladin en-Vec has been great for a cheap little guy with lots of protections, though that one has been great for me because of the playgroup I run in so it's a solid maybe with your list.
And last but not least, absolutely consider trading out the Marauder's Axe for Bloodforged Battle-Axe. It's cheaper to cast and can get out of control since the tokens it makes also have the ability to create tokens; most times when I cast it I hear groans from the other players because they know it stacks pretty fast when equipped to protected knights.

Why use white knight, fiendslayer, Mirran crusader, and especially Paladin en-vec???? Not saying there bad cards but the chances someone is using a black and red deck are slim. Mirran is a overcosted knight with the same problem except green. Paladin en-vec is a 3 cost white knight. Now compare Paladin en-Vec to Danitha Capashen, Paragon

Hi! Looking good so far! The major changes I would suggest are adding 3x Rest in Peace and 3x Stony Silence to your sideboard, probably in place of the Lightmine Fields and 2x Paladin en-Vec. Ghostly Prison is probably your best bet against aggro, so I'd definitely replace the Sphere of Safety in the maindeck with them, and have another 2 copies in the sideboard. Blessed Alliance is also good, and while not a Knight, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is probably your best bet against Storm. All in all, this is what I'd recommend for your sideboard:
- 3 Rest in Peace
- 3 Stony Silence
- 2 Ghostly Prison
- 3 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
- 2 Blessed Alliance
- 2 Mirran Crusader
Plus, of course, the Ghostly Prisons in the maindeck. Unfortunately, this will probably make your deck significantly more expensive, but I think these changes are really important. Hope this helps!

I think the double protection of Paladin en-Vec is worth considering. Being able to have an untouchable creature against red decks is always nice, and I usually prefer him to Fiendslayer Paladin - I suppose it depends on how much you value the lifelink. Northern Paladin also seems like a gamble, unless you know you regularly fight against black or mostly-black decks.
Enough knights have printed abilities (usually first strike, sometimes protections) that Cairn Wanderer might also be worth considering? Even something like a dead Skyhunter Skirmisher would make him a force to be reckoned with.

The flagstones or heaths can search up and shuffle for the Mistveil Plains, and the Cavern is for straight value.
