Move over Admiral Beckett Brass, you've got some stiff competition. While Malcolm and Breeches are giving up access to a lot of creatures, since they can't play black, they more than make up for it by having triggers that are much, much easier to get off and that in some ways give you more value, in the long term than the Admiral does. The other key thing here is that Malcolm and Breeches also don't care if the damage dealt to your opponents in combat damage, which opens up a lot of other avenues. This includes an infinite combo that, while highly disruptable, has many interchangeable parts. Overall Malcolm and Breeches make for a Pirate-tribal Commander deck that while lacking some of the powerful options of the notable alternative more than makes up for it with a streamlined build, cheaper mana base, more directly available value behind a much simpler gate and a little less salt at the table. Hoist the sails and head for the high seas, there's plunder to be had!
