I got the idea for this deck when watch an MtgGoldfish gameplay video and seeing them open up a jank card at the end of a Mtgo league. Then with the unbanning of Worldfire I started seeing enough big red spells to make Spellweaver Helix + Dragon's Approach work as a deck idea.

The trouble with this deck is creating the right balance. You need to be able to find multiple Dragon's Approaches and then either play or discard one, as well as find the Helix and get the big Sorceries that you want to cheat in with the Helix casting Dragon's Approach in the bin. The best way to achieve this is via rummaging spells. The deck doesn't tend to work without them. So, I've crammed as many rummagers and Dragons Approaches as I can while still having some room for Payoffs and other structurally important cards.

Right now, the commander I have chosen to lead this deck is Magda, Brazen Outlaw since she can help me ramp and act as a tutor for the helix. To support Magda, I included a few Dwarves and tap abilities to help get the treasure readily flowing. And since this is both a Dragon's Approach deck and Magda can also tutor up Dragons, I have small suite of Hellkites (and artifact beaters) to round things out. This deck is still a bit of a work in progress and needs a bit of tinkering to find that perfect balance between all the moving pieces but it is a really treasure to play (pun intended) and it's always fun to see the reactions opponents have when you pull off the combo with some ridiculous red sorcery cast multiple turns in a row.
