GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK!

Wake up Frankie was onto something back in 2020 when they told the world that "Green is the New Black". This is a graveyard deck in mono GREEN with +1/+1 counter synergies. The name used to be Shigeki, Sen's Fortress "Abominationz" nodding to my love of Darksouls and Twizted. But let's all go to Spotify and blast "Green is The New Black"! So sit down mono BLACK, GREEN is here to rule from the graveyard!

This is a combo deck that runs a strong Enchantress Package for value. It's resilient in protection and holds deck building fundamentals as a primary focus. I really enjoy this deck and can't put it down. Green is a very powerful color and this deck represents that.

Combo's are:

1) Early Harvest + Regrowth + Shigeki, Jukai Visionary

2) Devoted Druid + Luxior, Giada's Gift

3) Ivy Lane Denizen + Scurry Oak

1) Explained. This combo requires a haste enabler. Have Shigeki in hand which is important. Cast Early Harvest. Use Shigeki's channel effect to get Early Harvest back from the graveyard to your hand. Cast Regrowth to get back Shigeki to your hand (yes you want Shigeki in your graveyard). That's it. You demonstrate this repeating loop that you can and will net positive mana each time you do it which means infinite green mana. After getting to infinite green mana cast Shigeki and have a haste enabler on field. Tap Shigeki using its top ability. Bouncing him back to your hand and milling 4 at most, to 3 cards. Now you can mill your entire deck. shigeki can use it's channel effect to pick up your entire deck that was just milled to your graveyard. With infinite green mana and your entire deck in hand hopefully you win at that point. I run Thousand-Year Elixir, Lightning Greaves and Concordant Crossroads as my haste enabler. With Craterhoof Behemoth and Aetherflux Reservoir as my decks finishers.

2) Explained. Devoted Druid + Luxior, Giada's Gift create infinite mana by having the static buff Luxior gives to the equipped permanent negate the -1/-1 counters you can put onto Devoted Druid to untap him. With this infinite green mana we will again need a haste enabler and use Shigeki's ability to dump our library into our graveyard. Again Shigeki's channel ability to return said graveyard to my hand and attempt to win with the decks finishers.

3) Explained. Ivy Lane Denizen + Scurry Oak yield infinite squirrel tokens. Have both in play and bring into play any green creature, put the +1/+1 counter onto Scurry Oak to get another token. Rinse and repeat with the counters onto Scurry Oak stopping by putting the counter onto something else. Haste enabler spells a darn good swing as you have whatever large number of Squirrels you chose to now murder everyone with.

Thank you for checking out my build. It has been a journey getting here and I enjoyed the deck when it was at it's most basic infancy, to the GREEN MONSTER that it is today.

Updated: the deck only has Pili Pala + Carful Cultivation for infinite mana. I left all the other combos up in my description to show you how else the deck could be built. I don't like repeating combos in other decks. The deck focuses on the +1/+1 counter synergy and the mono green Enchantress Package making the infinite green mana icing on the cake.
