Vernal Equinox

Enchantment

Any player may play creature and enchantment cards as though they had flash.

Thanks Slurpz for the suggestion! I always find it hard put in cards, from which my opponents also benefit. Nevertheless in most cases Vernal Equinox would propably be better for me and definitely being harder to remove is a big plus! I haven't been able to really playtest the deck enough yet, but I'll have it on my radar!

If you find your Vivien being attacked out of the game early or you just want more flash for your morphs, Vernal Equinox is an in interesting option I saw in someone's Kadena deck recently.

Awesome! Yeah, for sure wait on a reprint for orrery. It has to happen, right? Maybe right? Hopefully : )

Hope the deck does awesome for you. And yep, I love Skybind but I was also playing it in 60 card, so not sure if it would be one of those things that would need too much to get there in EDH. But, that's what the maybeboard is for : )

I totally hear you on orrery. There are kind of worse versions like Vernal Equinox or Vivien, Champion of the Wilds but yeah, nothing is really orrery. Hopefully that reprint happens! For sure.

Yesterday on Worldgorger Combo + ETBs?

Oh jeez, I just realised that I completely misunderstood what you were trying to do.

Yes, if you are constantly flickering your own The Beamtown Bullies as part of a Worldgorger Dragon combo, you can respond to the Woldgorger exile trigger to tap Beamtown Bullies to reanimate a Bronze Bombshell under you opponent's control. Your opponent will be made to sacrifice the Bombshell before your Worldgorger flickers everything again, and then you can rinse and repeat this.

In-colour for Beamtown Bullies as a commander, you could do this with Emergence Zone, Necromancy, Vedalken Orrery, or Vernal Equinox.

It doesn't look like you have much ramp. Since you are going the enchantress rout, I'd recommend land enchantment ramp like Wild Growth, Utopia Sprawl, Fertile Ground, Overgrowth, Wolfwillow Haven, or any of the other myriad choices of similar ramp cards.

Spirit of the Labyrinth seems like it hurts your enchantress theme. Sensei's Divining Top is a generally good card, but it really doesn't need to go in every deck, and you could probably do without it here to add some ramp. I would think with the amount of draw you have in the deck, setting up the top three of your library probably isn't that necessary. Gilded Drake is another generally good card, but I don't see it as a fit here, unless you're able to reliably blink it and I'm missing that. Although not an enchantment, Seedborn Muse would pair well with Stasis. Vernal Equinox can be fun to let you play a chunk of your deck at instant speed, but it allows everyone to do so.

Hi ionlyplayelves! Here are some cards available to a deck that give all your creatures flash, enabling you to give your stuff functional haste and keep your mana open for answers during your opponents' turns.

1) Yeva, Nature's Herald

2) Vivien, Champion of the Wilds

3) Vernal Equinox This cards also gives this ability to your opponents, but if they aren't playing creature-based decks this will give you more upside.

4) Vedalken Orrery It's kind of expensive due to Wizards' allergy to reprinting it, but it's the best there is.

Timmys delight, love it :)

Though I'd still be curious if an aura-based build, esp. with Vernal Equinox, could keep up. This one is probably a lot more consistent!

Thanks for the suggestions Profet93. I am definitely going to switch out Oran Reef Hydra. It always feels slow and I never consider tutoring for it in most situations. I will give the others some thought! Good tip on Bane of Progress.

I am going to test Vernal Equinox and see if its as good as I'm hoping. I am looking at it as a budget Vedalken Orrery effect for creatures and enchantments.
