I have replaced Decanter of Endless Water, Shared Summons, Baleful Strix, and Vorosh, the Hunter with Bloom Tender, Korozda Guildmage, Lotuslight Dancers, and Ruthless Deathfang, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.58 to 3.56, because the newer cards better fit the theme of this deck than did the older cards.

Changes - IN: City of Traitors, Sheoldred the Apocalypse, Party Thrasher. OUT: Reflecting Pool, Lightning Skelemental, Long Goodbye.
Reasons:
City over pool - I find Pool quite able to be akaward in todays landscape of DC, since it can happen you only have 1 other land on a 5-6 hand or 2 lands extra on a 7 hand where one or two depending on the hand size, are colorless or one colored, which gives yourself a soft lock, which could been prevented. Although City do not fix this issue, the upside of it being able to make a surprise deadpool turn three is devistating to certain decks.
Shelly over Skelemental - I tested Skelemental and seemed awaful, when your oppoenent were far ahead and did nothing against aggro decks, where shelly is great against aggro and makes certain matchups like Asuza, which can be akward a much better matchup.
Thraser over removeal - Thought had enough removeal in the deck, and seen a lot played thrasher and been against it where a phlage player used it and really like the card selection it can provide, plus it makes your own unearth and animate dead better, plus can increase the strength of the three goys I have in my list.

As a side note, Judith's best friend is Electrickery. Who says Izzet and Rakdos can't get along?
Polaris on Can negative counters from instances …
3 weeks ago
Well, yes, but actually no, for two different reasons.
Deathtouch and lifelink are just keywords, and Judith, Carnage Connoisseur can apply them to any spell, as the ability says. However, those keywords only apply when something deals damage.
First reason: Disfigure gives a creature -2/-2, and that's it. It does not put -1/-1 counters on the target, and it does not deal damage. Neither deathtouch nor lifelink will apply here.
Second reason: Even as a 1/1, your friend's indestructible creature cannot be destroyed. Since deathtouch has the effect of "whenever this deals damage to a creature, destroy that creature," indestructible nullifies it.
To deal with an indestructible creature, you generally need to exile it, reduce its toughness to 0 or less (at which point it will die without being destroyed), or force the opponent to sacrifice it. Something like Disfigure is usually ideal for the job—it just wasn't big enough in this case. Grasp of Darkness would have worked perfectly.
Usually, Judith, Carnage Connoisseur wants damage spells like Lightning Bolt for removal, though those will have issues with indestructible. On Disfigure, you'd just use the Imp mode of her ability.

So for anyone who didn't notice, we're getting a rules change for commander: Any legendary vehicle can be your commander now.
Ghaltratron, the Challenger
Legendary Artifact - Vehicle
Trample, Haste
As an additional cost to cast this spell, you may tap any number of creatures you control with power 6 or greater. If you do, Ghaltatron becomes a creature until end of turn as it enters.
Whenever one or more vehicles you control deal combat damage to a player, you may search your library for a land card or a vehicle card, reveal it, put it into your hand, and then shuffle.

So, deathtouch and lifelink only apply to damage. Neither counters, nor temporary power/toughness reductions deal damage. They are therefore unaffected.
Also, for reference something only puts counters on a thing if the effect uses the word "counter". Black Sun's Zenith puts counters on creatures. Disfigure does not.

Can negative counter instances or sorceries gain death touch?
Hi I was playing a commander deck around Judith, Carnage Connoisseur and was using Disfigure to get rid of a friends 3/3 with indestructible - I assumed that through Judith, Carnage Connoisseur deathtouch and lifelink ability that the counter would get deathtouch and even though his 3/3 is brought to 1/1 the dealth touch would kill it. We assumed that was how it worked, but now I am not sure.
Any clarification on how those abilities can apply, if at all, to negative counters would be appreciated.
Thanks you,

Out
2 land (for Abstergo Entertainment and Hydroelectric Specimen Flip)
Confounding Conundrum: decent hate piece but very matchup dependent and easy to play around
Narset, Parter of Veils: while a good hate piece, it may not work well in this deck since you sort of want your opponents drawing to speed up your game plan but maybe also you don't want them drawing into interaction, I can see arguments for and against.
Curse of the Swine: It is also sort of an iffy card, like on paper it looks decent but I stopped running it after seeing it rarely made a difference in every deck I played it. I guess it can get rid of a couple of troublesome creatures so like Narset I am iffy on if dropping it is a good idea or not
Chrome Mox: This deck sort of feels a bit slower and I do not think this gives it any extra speed it needs, Mana Vault would be better
In
Abstergo Entertainment (graveyard hate and can get back something useful)
Lantern/Top deck manipulation pieces: maybe a suggested package
Grave hate
Soul-Guide Lantern / Tormod's Crypt / Ghost Vacuum / Grafdigger's Cage
Hate pieces
Wandering Archaic Flip (protection)
Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir (protection in your turn) Interaction
Hydroelectric Specimen Flip (protection)
other
Displacer Kitten: Blink Jace for repeated mill and The Ring for protection
Jace, Wielder of Mysteries: works with your game plan and lets you flip the script and traumatize yourself then +1 him and win.

Weird card idea I had waking up yesterday.
Coaster Card
Artifact Creature - Construct
Imprint drink - When Coaster Card enters, you may exile target drink you control.
Coaster Card's color is the color of the imprinted drink. As long as the drink is at least half full, Coaster Card get +2/+2.
Whenever Coaster Card is dealt damage, take a drink of the imprinted drink. If the drink becomes empty this way, sacrifice Coaster Card.

Yeah, I feel the same way about a lot of the equipment. I know that many cards are made specifically for the prerelease/standard etc… so they’re not really for me. Even something like Murderer's Axe is interesting, though, because of its mechanics. Currency Converter, Fifty Feet of Rope, Suspicious Bookcase, and Treasure Chest are all flavorful and interesting (albeit maybe not auto-adds for most decks) and I feel like a new set could have a few land-equipments that matched up to this sort of weird “here’s a couple of options” line of thinking. Because of how I think about MtG I would be better off starting with a setting first. Maybe I’ll get a couple of ideas down on paper for an existing set. It’s fun to consider!!

Toro, Unwilling Visitor
Legendary Creature - Human Peasant
Daybound
: Deal 1 damage to each creature and player.
Whenever Toro would take damage, prevent that damage and put 1 loyalty counter on him instead.
Whenever this creature enters the battlefield or transforms into Toro, Unwilling Visitor, if it has less than 2 loyalty counters on it, put loyalty counters equal to the difference on it.
0/1
Toro, Raving Wanderer
Legendary Planeswalker - Toro
Nightbound
0: Deal two damage to each creature and player.
-1: Deal two damage to each planeswalker you don't control.
-3: You get an emblem with "If a source you control would deal damage to an opponent or a permanent an opponent controls, it deals that much damage +1 instead."
Make a saga with five chapters.

You might try Death's Presence, maybe Increasing Savagery? Neither are creatures, but they follow your counters strategy and keep things moving in the event of any large creature deaths.

FormOverFunction If I came across as pressuring you, I apologize. Not what I was trying to do.
I'm interested in seeing ideas for fortifications; I've tried my hand at a couple in the card creation thread and never really felt satisfied with where I ended up. There's definitely some room for fortifications, and I'd like to see some that aren't some variation of either "add more mana" or "buff target creature." Caribou Range would make a great fortification, like you said.

I think the baseline effects would still be like those of current equipment… which would effectively turn all creatures into Frozen Shades or lands into Blessings… which wouldn’t probably be great. Add some man-lands and now you’ve got a wrath-proof fire breather. As we’ve seen with commander products (and discussed in other threads) they would likely make them everything-bagels, with both an effect and a payoff, that works off of having a creature of your own to target. I don’t want to fight too hard for this, and give the impression that I think we need them, but “equipment for lands” strikes me a very doable and potentially quite flavorful. I loved Farmstead and Caribou Range, so why not make more survivable reusable versions as equipment? It seems in-line with the power creep curve and the general themes you could introduce would contribute positively to the situational feel of games (like the rooms from duskmourn).

Just getting back to you about Omen of Fire, I've tried to slip it into a few decks, and the biggest complaint I had was that the decks I wanted to use it in were low enough in power level that people would sometimes balk if they were hit too hard by the land hate aspect. I think if you're allowed to use Game Changers (Bracket 3) you shouldn't get too much negative attention for Omen (expect some though). It's also a meta call, if nobody uses White or Islands then the card can do absolutely nothing. The Instant speed nature of it can matter in some lists, if you play it on a Blue player's end step then they can't replay any of the Islands that turn (and might have to discard a bunch), whereas a White player might have to choose between losing their blockers for the turn or sacrificing their aggro creatures, especially if they don't have a lot of Plains. FWIW a LOT of 'go wide' type token decks use White tokens, this will wipe out those tokens.
Omen plays well with cards that help your interaction get through, like Vexing Shusher for example, because you might find that the decks you most want to hit with it are best suited to just counter the spell.
Omen gets a lot worse if you're playing against people who use untyped duals, but I will note that more and more people like using things like the Surveil lands and Triomes, meaning even if people aren't on OG Dual Lands they can still have access to plenty of playable typed duals, and FWIW Omen is MUCH better vs ETB tapped Islands. If you find people react to you running Omen by running more of these untyped duals you can start using Primal Order that punish people for using non-Basics (I feel like you could probably get away with running a lot of Basic lands in a Gruul list, ymmv), so people are hurt either way.
Hopefully that can help give you insight into running Omen in a deck of your own!
I'm not sure if it's really an issue in your metas, but I found that when I built infinite combos it was often a big asset if I had some different types of payoff; this could help me get around protection effects in some cases. Anyways, Altar of the Brood allows infinite creature ETBs to mill out each opponent, all without targeting, and they die when they draw their next card. If nobody ever has Protection or some from of damage immunity then this isn't relevant and sorry for wasting your time!
I have a fancy Inkmoth Nexus that does essentially nothing ATM, but your idea of using it with Kessig Wolf Run seems reasonable, I think I might add it to my own Gruul list, it even wants some Colourless lands. Thanks!

Looking through the list of possible creatures with MV7 or greater, there are some real haymakers. As that's not what you asked for, just let me drop Nyxbloom Ancient. This should definitely be in here if you can afford it.
Regarding instant and sorceries, scryfall spit out at least some cool ones:
Decree of Savagery is fine, if not turbo broken.
Explosive Welcome is nice because it basically costs 4 instead of 7.
Scour from Existence is a great removal spell for permanents your colours can't handle.
Alpha Brawl punishes one opponent with one big monster and many small creatures. I fear the day someone casts this against my Ygra, Eater of All.
Apex of Power: Now, we're getting splashy. What's better that one Raggadragga trigger? How bout two?
Crush of Wurms: 36 points of stats should be worth 9 mana. It's quite nice here.
Ezuri's Predation: I'm assuming you already had this? Great boardwipe.
Last March of the Ents: What was that about flashy stuff?
Praetor's Counsel: As I just said...
Rise of the Eldrazi: Well...
Tooth and Nail: classic.
To finish, Vivien's Invocation.

This looks pretty dope. The amount of board protection you have looks frustratingly high, which seems good ;D
From glossing over the list, card draw might be a thing you'd want more of. Dusk Legion Duelist might help with that. For some burst draw, Return of the Wildspeaker is always powerful, and the new Become the Avalanche seems promising to me.
