Deckling -

Hello everybody! My name is Reaxetion (Re-Axe-Tion pronounced just like reaction, but with an axe in it because that is fun.) I have been playing magic for about 6 years. I started when a friend and I bought a deckbuilders tool kit during the Scars block and have loved it ever since. My favorite cards are Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Stratus Dancer, and Etched Champion (in that order).

When it comes to decks, I am an enthusiastic brewer and builder. I don't ever net deck off of top 8 lists or anything like that because I don't find it as much fun as building. I enjoy Modern and Legacy, but I get most of my love for the game from Standard and EDH. Standard is constantly evolving and changing, making the brewing game all the more interesting an exciting. As for EDH, its just fun to chill with friends and play a group game. If you want advice on a deck or just want to share it because you think its cool, let me know! I LOVE looking over different brews. Note: any advice I give is my own opinion and not necessarily correct. That beign said, I do typically give pretty sound advice - especially for standard. Just don't ask me about Modern or Legacy, because I don't know lol.

I just got married in December to my lovely wife and I was actually ready to give up magic all together to focus on more important things. However, the wonderful woman instead is encouraging me to chase my dreams of getting onto the pro tour. So currently I am putting a lot of effort into understanding the Standard metagame and trying to brew up a list that will work against the field for GP Houston - stay tuned for updates.

I like to make friends and I like to talk magic, so if you like those two things as well, I am sure we will get along just fine!
