My very first commander deck was an unholy amalgamation of almost all of my red and black rare cards with Mogis, God of Slaughter at the helm. Even a foil Death's Shadow made it's way into the deck (more often than not it read " Place this creature into your graveyard"). Eventually the deck was scrapped as the usual EDH power escalation occurred.

Now I seek to return to my roots and make a playable (but probably not very good) Mogis deck based on enchantments and other effects that ping opponents down 1 or 2 life at a time. The idea is to make it a little staxxy so that Mogis and his enchantment friends can slowly drain enemies. usually stax is taboo in my playgroup, so I'm trying not to make it too oppressive. Also, I'm choosing enchantments rather than creatures because enchantments usually stick better in my meta, and they can be an easier way to keep my devotion high enough to swing with my big minotaur.

Feedback is welcome and appreciated. I want to do my first commander justice.
