Brace Yourselves. Winter is Coming.

With new card additions from the upcoming Modern Horizons set, I began working on a draft of a Snow Themed deck as there is now a semi-decent selection of cards that can actually win some games. The problem at first was just jamming in all kinds of mostly bad Snow permanents in four color, but with some consideration we have got that down to a three color more focused build.

Introducing Mr. Mimeoplasm's Snow-Clone Machine!

The core concept is very simple: Play out the best permanents that care about Snow cards like Abominable Treefolk, Marit Lage's Slumber, and Conifer Wurm, then proceed to duplicate them over and over with some of the best Clone cards in these colors like Altered Ego, Progenitor Mimic, and Clever Impersonator.

Supporting cards which are not directly Snow but care about Snow cards have also been selected such as the powerful sweeper Dead of Winter, insane card draw of Glacial Revelation, and nice land selection of Into the North. Along with a suite of standard Sultai playable stuff like Countermagic, Ramp, Card Draw, and Removal, I feel like this is about a top notch as this style of deck can be.

Obviously in this color combination we do miss out on any Snow cards in White and Red, but I feel like this color pairing is one of the best for this archetype of cards and I'm happy of where it has ended up. Thank you very much for checking out this deck, and stay frosty!
