You might look at this deck and think " Marsh Boa ? What a horrible card!" And you'd be right. A 1/1 with Swampwalk for 1 is pretty bad in EDH. But with Seshiro the Anointed on the field, suddenly that 1/1 with Swampwalk is now a 3/3 with Swampwalk and "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, draw a card." For one mana! If you make it a family affair with Sosuke, Son of Seshiro and Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro , suddenly that Marsh Boa is a 4/4! Add in Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and he's essentially unblockable! That's what I call value.

The dream in this deck is to have Seshiro and some other snakes out on the field, along with Parallel Lives and Reliquary Tower or Spellbook. Then cast Endless Swarm and get more and more waves of 3/3 snakes each turn! So overpowered.

I've found that this deck is pretty impossible to beat. Simic, Bant, and RUG decks just can't stand up to the overwhelming power of cards like Anaconda and River Boa . The deck has stunning answers to virtually every match-up, such as Slice in Twain and Gravity Well. Powerful lands like Ghost Quarter and Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers just shut decks down.

I found the deck was making people cry too often, so I had to take out cards like Doubling Season and Craterhoof Behemoth. I still have amazing snake cards like Chameleon Colossus and Game-Trail Changeling that more than make up for the missing cards.

Suggestions are welcome, but the deck is clearly already tier one. It's a well-known fact that snakes are the most powerful tribe in the game. Momir Vig, Animar, Jenara, Rafiq, Damia, Karador, and Zur players alike all cower in fear when I pull out Seshiro.
