Instant — Trap
If a noncreature permanent under your control was destroyed this turn by a spell or ability an opponent controlled, you may pay rather than pay Cobra Trap's mana cost.
Put four 1/1 green Snake creature tokens onto the battlefield.

Cobra Trap Discussion

In my experience playing Seshiro going wider always pays off and some of the old kamigawas are just outclassed by producing more tokens. A Cobra Trap for example is a gamechanger when played for its trap cost, but even an endstep 6 mana is worth the four bodies. Mainphase Seshiro, swing for 12 damage + 4 cards on an unprepared table.
Sakura-Tribe Scout has always been an underperformer. Doesn't actually do anything on its own without any lands in hand is a waste of a slot, since your sneks are also a very snowbally tribe and seshiro so expensive the earliest ramp is also the better ramp. I like Search for Tomorrow, Harrow, Nissa's Pilgrimage, Rampant Growth, and Edge of Autumn.
Since the number of cards you'll have is so inconsistent you may end up producing either too much or too little mana at times, I find Omnath, Locus of Mana a good sink that prepares me to cast the next hand and Skullclamp can be vital when losing in a big way and Seshiro becomes out of the question.
You should swap Hurricane for Arashi, the Sky Asunder who I say is a strictly better card. Nearly immune to counterspells, easily recurable, flexible, tutorable (even Time of Need), and most importantly instant speed is all worth that 1 extra green. He can even be used to oppress flying commanders or ping down steady sources when hardcast/cheated.
I haven't tested Benefactor's Draught yet but it should theoretically create scenarios where opponents will be stuck in lose-lose scenario, or even double lose with a trample source. Speaking of which having a Thunderfoot Baloth gives you the perfect combo of +4,+4, draw a card, trample to your side, which is much less situational than Bellowing Tangleworm

Ramp (2cmc or less is important to be able to get out Ezuri ASAP)
Cryptolith Rite doesnt fit in the previous description but still a great card if paired with a nice card draw
Cultivator of Blades replace Wild Beastmaster (gives 2 extra Ezuri triggers for 2 more mana, I dont know how you feel about that tradeoff)
Blighted Agent nasty little bugger with infect and unblockable
Forgotten Ancient works really well to get a lot of counters, especially since a lot of the cards in this deck will be fairly low cmc, letting you push out quite a lot of spells and trigger him a lot; also good because if you play a creature that needs counters ASAP, you can dump a bunch onto it from this card
Den Protector slightly lesser version of Champion of Lamboldht (which you have) since it only makes itself unblockable to lesser creatures, but it gives you a bit of graveyard recursion if you choose to morph it
Panharmonicon give Ezuri double triggers, as well as anything with fun ETB effects
Bramblewood Paragon give all your creatures with +1/+1 counters trample
Triumph of the Hordes gives all your creatures, +1/+1, trample, and infect (nuff said)
Awakening Zone gives you a free Ezuri trigger every turn, plus some mana if you sac the tokens
From Beyond same as Awakening Zone (these 2 cards are really great cuz they keep giving you more mana, tokens, and Ezuri triggers. These are both really good if youre playing against someone who has a high powered threat on the board, as they provide you with a fresh chump blocker every turn)
Patagia Viper flying snake that triggers Ezuri 3 times (good card, used it to win against a guy with no flying creatures to block with)
Cobra Trap havent had much use for it since my non-creatures arent usually getting destroyed and when they do I never have it in my hand, but it could work well to give you some counters possibly for cheap
Dealing with stuff
Altered Ego if someone puts out a threat, if its not specific to their deck, you now have that threat as well, but a little bit powerful if you have enough mana. (used this today to copy a 7/7 and add 7 +1/+1 counters on it, then used Rite of Replication on it and kicked it so I had 5 14/14 creatures
Rite of Replication similar to Altered Ego, but instead of paying to get some extra counters, you can pay to get 4 extra copies (pretty damn dank, my friend used this once when my friend played Dark Depths to bring out his Marit Lage token. He didnt have enough mana to kick it, but he no longer had to worry about being massacred by the other guys Marit Lage. I on the other hand did not have a Marit Lage and was destroyed immediately.
Simic Manipulator if someone puts out a threat, you can take it (havent had a chance to use this yet, but seems like it would be very helpful in dealing with an opponent whose deck relies on their commander, since you can get rid of it and they wont be able to cast it again because now you have it)
Curse of the Swine good boardwipe for if the enemy is getting a scary boardstate
Cyclonic Rift indisputably one of the best blue boardwipes out there
Ixidron basically does what curse of the swine does but cheaper to cast, the actual creatures dont die, and it gives you a nice pumped up creature (I usually play this card as a salty response to someone using targeted removal on Ezuri or going full boardwipe. If it was targeted removal, I play this card as soon as I can especially if the opponents commander is out. Like Simic Manipulator, this card is great against decks reliant on the commander since the cards being flipped over dont actually die so they remain on the battlefield but just flipped over and the only way for them to get their commander back is to get whichever 2/2 flipped over card their commander is to somehow die. If it was a boardwipe, I wait a turn or 2 until they get their commander back out, then I strike. This card also works well against anyone who is getting a scary boardstate

Have you tested running some more Assault Formation alongside Natural Affinity for an unexpected win with Tower Defense or Hold the Gates? I feel like having a post-board state where the creatures appear from nowhere- Cobra Trap or Secure the Wastes style to deal with the inevitble Wrath of God coming in from sideboard could be good. It could also help free up those lower creature slots for some Languish and Yahenni's Expertise type area removal to deal with faster aggro. Might try putting it together to see what it would look like. Anyways, loving the deck idea.

Your mana base is obviously not complete, so I won't comment on that yet :)
Obviously some cuts are in order. My first thoughts on things worth removing: Cobra Trap, Fog, Naturalize, Genesis Wave, Rampant Growth, Time of Need, Verdant Confluence, Doubling Season (Parallel Lives is better here and much cheaper in terms of $$$), Gaea's Anthem, Ongoing Investigation, Snake Pit (depends on meta), Blade of Selves (snakes can't carry blades), Brass Herald, and a lot of creatures (take your pick).

Suggestions:Urza's Incubator - cheaper snakes
Belbe's Portal - cheat snakes into play (avoids counter heavy metas)
Brass Herald - another "snake" lord
Obelisk of Urd - Snake Anthem
Sosuke's Summons - cheap token generation

Arrow Volley Trap? Baloth Cage Trap? Definitely Booby Trap. Cobra Trap. Leonin Bladetrap? Refraction Trap? Slingbow Trap for sure. Summoning Trap, only if you have enough creatures for it to be worth it. Trap Digger if you go non-modern. Trap Runner too.
Also, adding any of the other colors isn't awful - blue in particular has some good traps to offer, and red and black have a handful too.

Curses would be so so good. Especially, as you say, they'd be different to the Innistrad ones -- Personally I think they'd mostly be Bolas colours, and I'd hope we'd get a Rakdos Curse commander, but that's just me spitballing. I would however like to see a green "Curse of Locusts" or something similar, classic Egyptian Curse.

(-) Wood Elves ----> Farhaven Elf
(-) Vulturous Zombie
(-) Titania, Protector of Argoth
(-) Shadow Alley Denizen
(-) Satyr Wayfinder
(-) Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest (too ugly)
(-) Glissa, the Traitor (if you use her just for first strike + deathtouch she isn't all that useful...)
(-) Doomgape (too ugly)
(-) Creakwood Liege (useful, but ugly)
(-) Champion of Stray Souls
(-) Acidic Slime
(-) Polluted Mire ----> Barren Moor
(-) Slippery Karst ----> Tranquil Thicket
(-) Aspect of Gorgon
(-) Dread Summons (could backfire pretty hard against another reanimator decks)
(-) Vampire's Bite ----> Deadly Allure
(-) Ashling, the Extinguisher
(+) Rogue's Passage - always useful, specially if you manage to ult Vraska
Maybe add a Garruk?
(+++) Pawn of Ulamog - helps building up experience faster (plus he is a vampire)
(+) Wasteland Viper - doubles as instant spell, thanks to bloodrush
Nemesis of Mortals - maybe?
(+) Disciple of Bolas - pretty self-explanatory. Even though it's not that thematic, the artwork makes up for it.
(+) Bloodgift Demon - kinda thematic since he gives blood (plus increasing draw)
Moriok Replica - non-thematic, recursive creature-based draw alternative
(+++) Sidisi, Undead Vizier - Nagas are part-snake! Sac to tutor is pretty good with Meren.
(++) Caustic Caterpillar - is cute and easily reusable to deal with pesky enchantments/artifacts
Basal Sliver - mana dork
Verdant Eidolon - mana dork (plus great artwork, but kinda costy)
(+) Burnished Hart - ramp
Dawntreader Elk - ramp
Renowned Weaver - early game
Centaur's Herald - early game
(+++) Merciless Executioner or Fleshbag Marauder (eew) help out specially if you sac them and bring them back with Meren. (works as Barter in Blood, but with no drawback for you). Also does wonders in conjunction with Butcher of Malakir.
Agent of Erebos - might be necessary when dealing with other reanimator decks (sideboard?)
Ravaging Riftwurm - it dies in 2 turns, but Meren can easily bring him back.
(+++) Rootrunner - it's a win condition. It can easily lock someone into drawing the same land over and over.
(+++) Bloodflow Connoisseur / Bloodthrone Vampire / Vampire Aristocrat in opposition to
Blood Bairn can sacrifice themselves.
Flesh Carver - looks like a vampire and grows up pretty fast, even though you have to pay to feed him. Intimidate is a plus.
Soldevi Adnate - poetic and could make itself useful in the mid-game.
Viscera Seer - classic
(+) Hooded Hydra - HAIL HYDRA! Gives you pet snakes
(+) Hornet Queen / Hornet Nest - flying deathtouch tokens are lovely
Avenger of Zendikar - lots of tokens.
(++) Vampire Hexmage - Kills planeswalkers among other stuff
(++) Archetype of Endurance - one of the cheapest defenses you can get in a deck.
Fierce Empath - tutor
Ulvenwald Mysteries - acts as a draw engine and gives you some vampire food in exchange. The art could also be interpreted as vampire attack :P.
Vampiric Rites - sac outlet and draw engine
Seed the Land - even though it also gives tokens to your enemies too, it should be ok.
Bonds of Mortality - removes hexproof and indestructible
Zendikar Resurgent - doubles your mana
Cultivate / Kodama's Reach - a must
Reign of the Pit has fantastic artwork.
(+) Triumph of the Hordes - win condition (plus flavor since it's poison)
Traverse the Ulvenwald - tutor
Diabolic Tutor - tutor
Increasing Ambition - tutor
Barter in Blood - removal
Crux of Fate - removal
Deadly Tempest - removal
Orochi Hatchery - I don't believe it should be necessary on this deck, but it's an option...
Basilisk Collar - Basilisks are a Gorgon's best friend.
Mortarpod - or, as I like to call it: deathtouch token-based removal cannon.
(+)Ring of Xathrid - Regenerate and buff a creature (Meren deserves a ring!)
Swiftfoot Boots - for the hexproof (Meren has a giant target on her back)
