Hello and welcome! This is intended for kitchen table.

My first attempt at making a Yahenni voltron deck kind of failed. So I changed it to forced sacrifice and big demons. Overall, this has been doing well. It does need a bit of time to build up before it can cause trouble. Future improvements would likely be adding better sac/destroy/draw options.

Game plan: Sacrifice tokens or creatures that can return from the graveyard

a) Give Yahenni indestructible

b) Force opponents to sacrifice their creatures

The good:

• Succeeds at forced creature sacrificing (It did fairly well against an exalted deck)

• Lots of drawing opportunities

• Not dependent on commander

The bad:

• Needs at least 4 mana before it can get going (Mana cost on demons and some enchantments are pretty high)

• Going against token decks has been very difficult

• Paying 1 life to draw might eventually take its toll since there are few options for life gain

MTG Staples such as Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos are financially out of my budget. So I included Butcher of Malakir & Call to the Grave as substitutes for these cards.
