With his huge teeth, and weird spikes above his head... and his pointy tongue... and his butterfly and insect arms... and his bumpy mile-long tail... yeah...

Fred loves two things in the game of EDH, and they are ramping and card drawing. Coincidentally, these two strategies go together quite well, and with an instant-speed commander such as the noble Fred to lead them, what could possibly go wrong?

Fred's Toys

This is primarily a combo deck, meant for a semi-competitive setting, meaning that Fred uses synergy between himself and cards to create a win-condition.

Using Fred

Patron of the Moon is a good place to start for an infinite combo, since he is always available and has an easily exploitable ability. Together with Amulet of Vigor, he can produce various types of infinite mana.

Patron of the Moon + Amulet of Vigor + Extraplanar Lens/Caged Sun/Temple of the False God + Storm Cauldron = Infinite Mana

Patron of the Moon + Amulet of Vigor + Extraplanar Lens/Caged Sun/Temple of the False God + Meloku the Clouded Mirror = Infinite 1/1 Tokens

Patron of the Moon + Amulet of Vigor + (two of the following) Extraplanar Lens/Caged Sun/Temple of the False God + Trade Routes = Infinite Mana

Patron of the Moon + Amulet of Vigor + Extraplanar Lens/Caged Sun + Flooded Shoreline = Infinite Mana + Infinite Bounce

With infinite mana, you can draw your deck and mill your opponents out of the games with your X-Draw Spells (Blue Sun's Zenith, Stroke of Genius). If that play gets disrupted for some reason, you can alternatively win with Laboratory Maniac.

Using Palinchron

Palinchron is also one of the more broken cards in EDH. The following combos allow for infinite mana and wins similar to previous combos.

Palinchron + Deadeye Navigator/Phantasmal Image/Extraplanar Lens/Caged Sun = Infinite Mana

A full primer will probably make an appearance sooner or later, but for the moment, you'll have to content yourself with this, because Fred ate the huge wall of text I originally made.
