Nature was quick to pass the sponge of her deluges over these awkward sketches (dinosaurs), these first nightmares of Life. - Auguste de Villiers de L'Isle-Adam

Ghalta, Primal Hunger. What an underrated card. A two-mana 12/12 with trample, this beauty failed to catch the gaze of many deckbuilders, given the veritable cornucopia of green stompy generals: Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, Gargos, Vicious Watcher, and so many more. I'm not saying these are bad generals, but Ghalta, Primal Hunger has a bone to pick with them. A dinosaur-shaped bone.

If history repeats itself, I am so getting a dinosaur!

So let's start with the basics: What makes Ghalta tick? Well, with enough creatures, you have a repeatably castable 12/12. Now, we care about the big body of Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and it's certainly big, but what we really care about is the repeatableness of it. We draw cards and other fun stuff off of cast triggers like Soul of the Harvest, Gyre Sage, and Garruk's Packleader, all the while, we're sacc'ing Ghalta with cards like Greater Good, Life's Legacy, and friends. Greater Good is especially bonkers. How would you like at least 12 cards for two mana? It's literally on of the best, if not the best, card draw rates in Magic, especially in mono-green.

Ghalta, Primal Hunger is also a great Stompy commander. With cards like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma and Ohran Frostfang, you can plow through your enemies, draw cards, and GREEN SMASH! Myojin of Life's Web is an all-star, dumping your hand after draw 30+ cards with Ghalta, Primal Hunger!

So, the primer is still under construction, check back here in a week or so, it'll probably be up. Anyways, please consider upvoting if you liked the deck, and as always, Happy Tapping!
