If you're looking for a card that does more than make you or your opponent discard, Funeral Charm and Piracy Charm also lets you bin your elementals when you need them in the yard, drops your opponent's guys, and gives you the discard T1.

Other one-drops to consider, there's Insolent Neonate and Stern Constable that both look like they'd be useful

For me personally, I'd take out:

2-4x Tidehollow Sculler

2x Gonti, Lord of Luxury

3x Stern Constable

Add in

3x Gut Shot - That no mana damage wincon is a big deal with this deck

2x Wrath of God - Replace your Tidehollow Sculler or Gonti, Lord of Luxury

2x Collective Brutality - It's just a really good card

My only qualm about this deck is that if you get your Master of Cruelty Surgical Extraction'd, you've lost the game.. So you need another wincon. I would consider tossing in some turtle cards like Ghostly Prison or Lingering Souls or something.. or like 1x elspeth for tokens to attack/defend with. These are just some musings though!

I also with I could find a way to splash blue do I could put in a few Glimpse the Unthinkables to mill myself with to get my wincon in the graveyard haha.

Pheardemons, thank you so much for your feedback!! Your suggestions really help me out. The deck is budget for now, but I definitely wanna work towards its final form eventually.

If I play board wipes (which I definitely wanna do), I'd wanna keep Boros Charm just so that I can keep my side of the board intact. I think Sweltering Suns is perfect for this deck, as well as Collective Brutality (thanks 22edinkel!).

I think I'll be taking out Furyblade Vampire, Stern Constable, and maybe one or two Tidehollow Sculler for the cards you suggested. Essentially this deck is turning into mardu control with Master of Cruelties as the main win-con. However I would love cards that synergize with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, which is why I have Gonti, Lord of Luxury in the deck, in case I don't have Master of Cruelties out I can bring him back and deal some deathtouch damage and have fun with my opponents spells.

Either way, I will work something out to make this deck really nasty, thank you again for your help!!

I understand that you wawnt to discard, but I think cards like Faithless Looting will allow you to utilize that better. Plus, you also have Key to the City which helps as well. I'd actually recommend YOU playing some board wipes. Going wide seems like it would kind of hurt this deck. I think you should try to capitalize on your main win condition as much as possible. Wipes like Anger of the Gods (the exile effect I understand can hurt you) or Sweltering Suns so you can cycle if you don't need it. Then, you can use the targeted single creature destruction spells if they play anything on the back swing. I second Generator Servant because all of a sudden your opponent HAS to deal with a hasty Alesha, Who Smiles at Death or a hasty Master of Cruelties which can always be a problem for anyone.

Stern Constable, Gonti, Lord of Luxury, Furyblade Vampireand Tidehollow Sculler I think should be take out for Faithless Looting, and some mainboard Inquisition of Kozilek or Thoughtseize. I also believe Boros Charm could come out, although I do recognize the synergy. I think Glorious End should be able to be a one of mainboard. Just in case.

I second the notion to get Fetch lands (Bloodstained Mire, Marsh Flats, and Arid Mesa) and shocklands (Blood Crypt, Godless Shrine, and Sacred Foundry) as to fix your colors early. However, if you don't want to, Blood Moon could be a decent alternative here to take your opponents off colors and stall them until you get to do what you want to do. You can also play Blood Moon with the fetches and shocks, you just need to be more mindful that you get a correct mana base before playing it cause it could hinder you as well.

Because you're in black, another great targeted removal spell is Fatal Push. Definitely look into that.

Your sideboard needs serious work. You need cards to help against Jund, Death's Shadow, control, affinity, ect. If you take my advice on some of the cards above, then you already have some help with them (Death's Shadow cries at Fatal Push, Hand disruption helps against almost any deck, ect). I think you should look into a sideboard that is similar to this

3X Fatal Push3X Leyline of Sanctity2X Disenchant1X Shatterstorm1x By Force2x Thoughtseize2x Nihil Spellbomb1x Blood Moon

This sideboard has some assumptions. 1) You are playing some mainboard Blood Moons. If you're not then I'd recommend having more in the sideboard. At the very least Stone Rain, Molten Rain, or Crumble to Dust. These are against tron, which is greatly needed. Karn Liberated is hard to face down with a midrange style deck that can't take him out of the hand early, or have haste cards to hit him fast. Only two Thoughtseize with the assumption that Inquisition of Kozilek will be put mainboard. There are two extra for those fast combo decks, or big mana decks (tron) to consistently take the threat out of their hand before you have to deal with it. Fatal Push is there assuming you're not going to put it in mainboard because you don't play fetches. If you're not going to get fetches at all, then maybe up the Path to Exile count.

Leyline of Sanctity is there for decks like Ad Nauseam, Burn, other hand disruption type decks, ect. Nihil Spellbomb is graveyard hate for Tarmogoyf, control decks, dredge, ect. Shatterstorm, By Force, and Disenchants are there for artifact hate, with some enchantment hate as well. Affinity is still running around, and Lantern control is such a bitch to fight against.

Hope this helps.

Very interesting brew. 2 of my favorite standard cards are Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter and Sylvan Advocate. I love Oviya because she seems so innocuous and people rarely want to waste removal(even if they do I am normally more than happy with that trade) on her and then she starts making 5/5s and 8/8s and the game is over quickly after that. Advocate is just so good and has kind of been forgotten the past several standard seasons since Collected Company rotated, but it is still a very powerful magic card. While it is colorless, I would consider adding Hostile Desert to take advantage of Advocates ability. I think you will have plenty of lands to exile since you probably discard some lands with Stern Constable and once you are at 6 lands attacking with a 5/6 is pretty insane. I know you mentioned Thraben Inspector above, but having the extra card draw seems more valuable than the extra point of power from the gargoyle. And while not a huge deal, triggering revolt for the Narnam Renegade would be a nice bonus. Just something to consider, but if your current list works then it works. Nice deck and Happy Brewing!

Beio53, I was actually answering to foxboy93. It was the only comment at the time, and I honestly didn't expect another. I've never posted a decklist before, and while I know the magic community is pretty nice, I didn't thought that people would go out of their way to provide such helpful comments. So thanks to you! I do really like your version of the deck as well.

I update the deck. Magus of the Disk is one of my favourite suggestion of yours. I didn't know that card. It's a much better fit than nev's disk here. I also add Stern Constable and Mindless Automaton and made a few other changes that improves the deck in the meta it'll be playing in. I think my friend will have a good time with it!

Hi Pudding_PopFirst of all I really like your Agro style of attack with this deck. And making this to teach someone with in mind, I think it's straightforward enough to not confuse anyone so good on you! foxboy93 is right in most of his suggestions though as far as dealing with artifacts and enchantments as well as discard/draw fuel. Mindless Automaton in particular is an unbelievable card in my own Alesha, Who Smiles at Death deck, it does more work than almost any other card. Also, Magus of the Disk is a creature form of the disk that can be recurred with Alesha and is cheap money wise. But I don't see a whole lot of creature removal from your actual creatures, which is a huge opportunity with Alesha. I'd really recommend some cheap creatures like Bone Shredder or Ghitu Slinger, but also since you have more attacking synergy here, there are some cool force blocking cards that would definitely help you keep the board clear. Invasion Plans has almost no downside for an Agro deck like yours since you'll likely be tapped out anyway, and you can ram Tajic, Blade of the Legion into any difficult creatures. Brutal Hordechief does the same thing and drains your opponents when you attack, but you have to pay for the force block. Stern Constable will also help you discard important creatures and tap down blockers or annoying creatures, and at 1 mana, it's a game changing turn 1 play. If you'd like I'm updating my Alesha deck now if you wanna take a look at it, it's more controlling and "deathy" haha but your Agro is something I've considered making mine for a while now. Alesha's smiling ear to ear

You need a way to get your creatures in your graveyard (to get them out as tokens). I think a good way is Peace of Mind and otherwise maybe Stern Constable (not a fan of him). Peace of Mind will help you stay alive longer too. If you're keeping in Anointed Procession maybe a Wharf Infiltrator? Two 3/2's with flying and vigilance, plus whatever creature you bring back with embalm (assuming you have Aven Wind Guide out). Also I'd put in Vizier of Many Faces
