A Commander take on the Zirda Yidaro Cycling budget standard concept from the Ikoria rotation. Kinda lost the budget part though, the original standard deck was about $10 at the time.

Akim, the Soaring Wind is just to add blue to the deck without violating Zirda's companion condition. Consider Zirda, the Dawnwaker to be the real Commander.

Unpredictable Cyclone is the big boy spell here, once you have it, the deck really goes off. Use the Runes of Protection to keep it and Zirda in play.

Unpredictable Cyclone + Zirda, the Dawnwaker enables bigger spells to be played for cheap, particularly creatures.
