In this deck Vial Smasher and Kraum team up to dish out the pain.

The strategy is largely centered around Vial Smasher's ability. So a large part of the deck is spells with high mana costs that have some sort of cost reduction effect. This allows you to maximize your damage without investing too much.

There are also some goofy synergies in here. Combustible Gearhulk, Sin Prodder, and Twilight Prophet. What makes them goofy is how they interact with Split Cards such as Commit / Memory and Connive / Concoct. You see while on the stack, only the half of a split card being cast is checked for its CMC. However, if the card isn't being cast and something needs to figure out what its CMC is, it takes the combined values of both halves.
