My current Omnath EDH deck. I am all in on the voltron plan with the only backup being Ant Queen. Used to run Helix Pinnacle too but it is too slow and does not help you stabilize.

As with every voltron deck, this deck comes in three parts: pump, protection, and evasion. With Omnath at the helm, our ramp cards are our pump cards so we don't need to run dedicated pump. I am favoring either multi-purpose ramp/pump (e.g. Cartouche of Strength or Bear Umbra) or one-mana ramp spells (e.g. Burgeoning or Birds of Paradise) Evasion is straightforward, we're shooting for unblockable but Omnath is huge enough that trample will usually suffice. Protection is less straightforward. We have some cards that grant hexproof or totem armor, but cards that let us cast Omnath at instant speed can also act as protection. Mana doesn't normally drain from your pool until the end of a step or phase. This means that if Omnath gets killed you still have until the end of the step or phase to re-cast it and keep your mana. Vedalken Orrery is sweet, but Yeva and Savage Summoning let you flash in Omnath without broadcasting it.
