"I am who I pretend to be" -Body Double flavor text

This is a casual deck for fun with all sorts of graveyard usage, stealing, and creature copying. Not meant to be competitive but just make use of some really fun mechanics. I love Lazav, Dimir Mastermind as a Commander because he's hexproof and that means fewer times paying the Commander Tax. I also love that he can make use of any opponent's graveyard, giving you access to the most variety of creatures to copy. His versatility is almost endless, since almost every deck an opponent has will have someone in there worth copying to sling their own strategy back at them.

The primary mechanic of the deck is copying, stealing, or pulling from graveyards. This means there are a variety of ways to get cards into graveyards, including some mills, discard, counterspells, and destruction. Milling is not the core purpose of the deck but it's needed to build up enough interesting cards in graveyards to go browsing. Whatever creatures your opponents brought to the table will be the played against them!

And then there's Liliana Vess when all else fails. Just grab everyone's creatures from all graveyards. Or Sorin Markov to just take over an opponent for a turn.

There are handful of other counterspells in the deck like Counterspell and Didn't Say Please which I like in particular since it mills more fodder for your benefit. Some do two things like Drown in the Loch which offer destruction and countering.

Dire Undercurrents rewards you for blue creatures and hurts your opponents for black ones that come under your control. Many in this deck are actually both!

Forced Fruition is this deck's version of a red chaos card - if an opponent so much as casts a spell, they're going to have to discard - lots if they cast another spell. While feeding opponents their best cards, it also ensures a steady stream of discards into their graveyards.

With the new battle card type, Invasion of Amonkhet   was a natural fit as it both results in mill and when defeated can enter as a clone of a graveyard creatures.

All in all it's about having fun, and turning your opponents against themselves with their creatures and typical black/blue shenanigans of destruction and control.
