“Our creations are more than mere things. They have life in them, little bits of ourselves.” - Saheeli Rai

A Living Energy pre-con deck I upgraded with the elements from Modern Horizons' Creative Energy plus some added tricks since, left alone, the deck felt like it was always one loose wire, one malfunction, away from - to use Star Trek terminology - losing main power. Basically I removed the Removal and Bounce cards in favor of ones that generate and/or use Energy counters so as to maintain a more reliable supply of Energy.

New Energy interactions: Izzet Generatorium, Aether Refinery, Conversion Apparatus, Stone Idol Generator, and Aethersphere Harvester.

New tricks: Keranos, God of Storms is self-explanatory and keeps a different sort of charge up, while Saheeli, the Sun's Brilliance acts almost like a double of her Commander counterpart - copying a creature or artifact so as to double its entry effects. Which makes flipping Golden Guardian   ridiculously easy as you can do it almost if not immediately thanks to Saheeli, Radiant Creator's ability so long as you have three Energy at the ready, after which you have Gold-Forge Garrison   - two more mana and a Golem plant - at your disposal. Beyond that, crewing The Belligerent increases mana access through Treasure and general spell-slinging, Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle adds still more mana and a titan of a beast once awakened, while Mechanized Production adds an alternate win-condition.

Other new cards: Saheeli, the Gifted, Lithoform Engine, Saheeli, Filigree Master, Invasion of Kaladesh  , Saheeli Rai, Dowsing Device  , and Sylvok Battle-Chair.

Playability Results: Thus far the deck has won more games than lost by an appreciable measure, all against experienced opponents. Fair warning: not unlike a race-car piloting this takes effort as, given the sheer number of possible combos, one must pay attention to which combos will steer you right.

Fun Fact and Social Interaction: This deck has every Saheeli card in MTG - all four Planeswalkers and the two Legendary Creatures - so tis not unusual for 2-3 Saheelis to be present on the Board (your commander plus one or two others). When that happens and your opponent(s) say "attacking/targeting Saheeli" you can reply "which one?" with a grin. Trust me, their faces are worth it.
