Brew for a budget secret santa! Flicker based deck meant to try and reuse/abuse ETB triggers on creatures via various flicker effects.

Livio functions as the repeatable blink engine, always available in the command zone. Her first ability can be used to protect your own creatures from permanent exile/death, or can be used as politics as a method to help protect another player's creatures. Livio's return from exile effect is slow, but is unique in that no matter WHEN the creature was exiled, as long as it has an aegis counter on it, it will return to the battlefield when her second ability resolves, even if she was recast after it was exiled.

Her first ability also plays well with cards that have both ETB and LTB abilities, such as mesmeric fiend. When mesmeric fiend ETB the trigger goes on the stack. What you then do is use Livio's first ability targeting mesmeric fiend exiling it. This exile causes mesmeric fiend's LTB ability to go on the stack, returning nothing because it hasn't exiled anything yet. Then the first ability resolves allowing you to exile a card from their hand. Now that card remains permanently exiled, as a newly ETB mesmeric fiend won't have any connection to the exiled card.

Nadier is Livio's partner in crime, because his ability is perfect for being blinked. Without any other alterations, every time Nadier leaves the battlefield he'll create 3 1/1/ elf tokens, whether he dies, or is exiled, or is even bounced. In addition whenever another TOKEN of ANY kind leaves the battlefield under your control, he gets buffed. The includes creatures, treasure and clue tokens! Combining cards that double triggers (like strionic resonator) or buff creature power (like call for unity) can many creatures quickly.

Plenty of removal is included to help control the board a bit until the engine gets going. There are some board wipes included, both that handle creatures or other pesky permanents. Nadier and board wipes are a decent interaction because if Nadier is on the field and a board wipe is cast, you will always get creatures replaced onto the board. There are many quicker blink effects such as eerie interlude, flickerform, gift of immortality and charmed prince. Conjurer's closet makes an appearance and is a powerhouse with any creature with an ETB ability, especially Nadier!

Cards to consider including are things like: Cathar's crusade, ghostway, panharmonicon, Better Dual lands (godless shrine, isolated chapel), palace jailer.
