Xyris, the Writhing Storm draws you and the player it damages cards equal to the amount of damage it does. Also, whenever an opponent draws a card other than the first of their draw step, you get at 1/1 green snake.

The easy way to build Xyris is as a wheels deck. Instead, I decided to go with "whenever an opponent" tribal. Basically there are a ton of cards that passively get you value whenever an opponent (or sometimes any player) plays Magic, which inevitably they will do.

So there is a little bit of a "death-by-a-thousand-cuts" strategy here. But, of course, there is also just the draw a ton of cards and beat people down with snakes.

Super-budget and, hopefully, super-fun!
