Immolation Shaman Discussion

Taking something out of a deck is the most headache inducing activity ever with which I'll probably be of little help, however I can point you to some additions that you can make. (although, I would probably take out the spellbombs as well as stalking vengeance and nettlevine blight, because of their big mana cost) I have created a Kaervek deck of my own recently, and although I'm still in the process of perfecting it, it seems that a healthy diversity of creatures and enchantments is the way to go. Damage doubling creatures such as Angrath's Marauders and Sower of Discord are a must, as well as small but efficient pingers like Immolation Shaman and Scab-Clan Berserker, but arguably the most leg work goes to enchantments such as Furnace of Rath, Manabarbs, Citadel of Pain, Spellshock, Pestilence and most especially Havoc Festival. If you have the budget Master of Cruelties, Wound Reflection and Painful Quandary completely lock the game, with or without Kaervek being on the board. Toralf, God of Fury Flip would be great addition as well. Hope this helps

Let's crank that damage!
Flamescroll Celebrant Flip, Immolation Shaman , and Scab-Clan Berserker can all come down early and start to chip in damage, and become mana-sinks in the late game if you're not doing anything else. They also bring your mana curve down versus cards like Magma Giant or Emeria Shepherd. If you're punching everyone, Arbiter of Knollridge is going to gain them all life. Why not Sulfuric Vortex to punch them more and prevent life gain?
As for removal, Boros Charm and Abrade feel like auto-includes over Shock or Inescapable Blaze. And since each activation of Pyrohemia is separate damage, you'll kill everyone else's creatures while leaving yours unscathed!
Flame Blitz is great against planeswalkers and replaces itself if no one's playing planeswalkers.

Some other cards that are similar or in the same spirit of what you want would be; Harsh Mentor , Immolation Shaman , Invader Parasite , Leyline of Combustion , michiko konda, truth seeker, Scab-Clan Berserker , Spelltithe Enforcer , AEther Sting , Flameblade Angel , Emberwilde Captain , and Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs .

Well Zendikar Resurgent doubles my mana and gives me a lot of draw power, its easy one of the best cards in my deck.
I think the PWs are to good to swap out. And Blood Moon just shuts down half of the decks i face.
Also feel free to Link your nikya deck if you want me to take a look at it.

By the time you can cast Zendikar Resurgent you can already cast everything in your deck except those sorceries. Zo-Zu the Punisher or Immolation Shaman maybe. I am personally not big on Planeswalkers and have an ancient grudge vs Blood Moon but that's just me.
What I do like is having something more to spend huge amounts of mana on. I have a Nikya of the Old Ways deck with a bunch of things that might fit here. La Femme Nikya. My decks are all pretty casual though because of my usual meta.

Rain of Knowledge
Draw X cards, where X is 1 plus the number of charge counters on it.
Return a land to your hand: Put two charge counters on Rain of Knowledge. You may choose a new target for it. Any player may play this ability but only if Rain of Knowledge is on the stack.
So, yesterday, I posed this challenge to no reply, so I'll repost it.
Also not like a Magus of Stasis-type deal or Magus of the Moon, but like Yixlid Jailer, Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Vexing Shusher (kinda?), Stigma Lasher, Eidolon of the Great Revel, Ash Zealot, Tunnel Ignus, Harsh Mentor, and Immolation Shaman.

Mzuzi the Unlucky
Legendary Planeswalker - Mzuzi
Spells your opponents cast that target you or permanents or spells you control cost less to cast.
+2: Each opponent creates a 3/3 green Beast creature token. During each opponent's next turn, creatures that player controls attack Mzuzi the Unlucky if able.
+2: Target opponent gains control of Mzuzi the Unlucky.
-9: You get an emblem with "If you have cards in your graveyard, you can't lose the game." and "As long as you have 0 or less life, whenever you lose life, for each 1 life you lost, exile a permanent you control or a card from your hand or graveyard."
The static is based on Accursed Witch Flip, the first +2 is based on Gideon Jura/goad as a mechanic, and other +2 is based on Harmless Offering as well as Gilded Drake-type effects. The ultimate is a mix of Worship, Phyrexian Unlife, and Lich's Mastery.
I couldn't really think of a green aspect, so I just gave everyone some beasts to attack Mzuzi with.
Also not like a Magus of Stasis-type deal or Magus of the Moon, but like Collector Ouphe (I'm aware is't Null Rod), Yixlid Jailer, Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Vexing Shusher (kinda?), Stigma Lasher, Eidolon of the Great Revel, Ash Zealot, Tunnel Ignus, Harsh Mentor, and Immolation Shaman.

I like the poke idea that this deck is going for, but I think that there are some parts of the deck that are a bit counter productive. I think that a number of the low-damage wrath effects will lose a lot of their impact as you move into the mid and late game, even with Torbran's boost, and even though cards like Pyroclasm will deal more damage to your opponents' creatures they are still dealing enough damage to kill a good number of your own utility creatures anyway. I think that there are other options to consider that would give you more choice and control over where damage is going.
Rolling Thunder and Violent Eruption give you a good amount of control and scale really well with Torbran out. Inferno Titan and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames can spread their damage around and are also large bodies that can help finish a game. Goblin Sharpshooter is another creature that can get pretty ridiculous with Torbran out, and Flameblade Angel might also be worth consideration as a deterrent.
There are some other options worth looking at to increase the "punisher" aspect of the deck. Circle of Flame, Harsh Mentor, Immolation Shaman, Rampaging Ferocidon and Hissing Iguanar are all possible ways of getting some extra damage in. If you end up running more creatures, Hellrider is a possible inclusion. And will all the damage flying around you might find that Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion might make a good addition, although Neheb is better with more X cost spells.
Anyway, just some ideas to think about. I'd like to see your opponents' faces when you drop both Mana Barbs and Torbran onto the board. That's not something most people would want to deal with.
