My goal in creating this deck was to abuse what Blue does best, namely casting spells, with talrand to create creatures.

A secondary Objective use Polymorph , Proteus Staff , Jalira, Master Polymorphist , Reweave or Mass Polymorph to then actually use Talrand's Drakes to turn them into big Critters.

Accordingly i staffed my Deck with a lot of Counters, and especially Carddraw cards, that allow me to contol which cards i draw. So that no expensive Creature card will end up in my hand.

Protection of Talrand relies mainly on being able to cast counter spells to protect him.
