Another budget deck (it started at sub $100), this time it started life as a local challenge over lockdown, first to create a deck based around an Uncommon Commander (Eutropia, the Twice Favoured), then around a keyword or mechanic (I chose +1/+1 counters) for under $30 that could be easily played over camera. I liked both enough to try to finesse it into something else, but I still wanted to keep it budget (hence the $100). It's since risen to around $150 with a few changes for consistency and the continued rising price of certain cards.

I switched to Rashmi as she seemed the perfect value commander (as a replacement for the original Uncommon Commander), able to support another strategy by virtue of at the very worst, drawing you a card if you couldn't (or didn't want to) play it for free. The rest is built around a core of Elves and counters for synergy, using the strengths of Blue (Card Draw) and Green (Ramp) to flood the board with Elves (and all the synergy they provide) and counters. Fun, and can be surprisingly fast in developing / re-growing a board state.

Simic Ascendancy is in there as an alternative win condition, but weight of numbers is more likely to result in success.

26/04/2022 - Slight changes to number of creatures.
17/06/2022 - Increased the number of bodies due to changes in the local meta.
06/09/2023 - Increase in the number of Elves, the deck has become more of an Elf deck that also uses +1/+1 counters.
31/10/2022 - More bodies added, greater focus on counter creation.
19/09/2023 - Greater focus placed on Elves as a strategy, whilst still focussing heavily on counters.
