Norin the Wary Commander

What's the point of Norin? I feel like he doesn't contribute much to the deck.

Lhurgyof, that's exactly the point. :-)

Using Norin as commander is worth a point in itself! :)

Vigilante Justice if you're looking for more ETB damage off Norin.

@Slycne Thanks!

But at the moment Norin leaves the game into the exile zone he moves directly into the command zone hindering him from coming back into play. Using him with Vigilante Justice would become rediculous expensive this way.

@MartialArt "If a Commander would be put into a graveyard or exile from anywhere, its owner may choose to move it to the command zone instead."

May choose.

Norin is a ETB trigger machine! I love EDH decks with clever commanders! +1

does he exile himself when he attacks alone? If he doesn't you can use Norin the Wary to win via Worldfire , or use worldfire's cousins Wildfire and Destructive Force to whittle the opponent's resources down...

Glad to see you have Warstorm Surge .

Maybe consider global enchantments that give haste. If you do, Norin can enter the battlefield, swing and flicker himself in the same turn. If you have Warstorm Surge or Vigilante Justice on the battlefield, you effectively have a Shock or a Gut Shot every turn.

In the Web of War , card:Ashling's Prerogative.

I would definitely consider Genesis Chamber , because you would get a Myr per flicker, which would provide either chump blockers or token swarm every spell. Very nice deck man, I'm probably going to start building it :D

You can't attack with him, but that's his only fault.
