Here's the General Idea...

• What I'd like to do is develop a control deck that can win long grinding games through discard effects, board sweepers, and recursive threats.

• I hope to use Lyzolda as a card advantage engine with the occasional Shock thrown in to seal the deal.

• I want to live out of the graveyard and I'm not afraid of symmetrical sacrifice and discard effects.

• This could easily go a Pox route if that seems viable but I have not done that.

• The deck definitely wants to punish opponents for playing creatures or punish them for holding onto cards.

Current win conditions:

• Rack effects that play on the discard theme. The Rack, Shrieking Affliction, and Stabwhisker the Odious.

• Small recursive beaters like Bloodghast and Bloodsoaked Champion.

Nyxathid is the larger win condition.

Key Synergies:

• Recursive dudes to sacrifice: Bloodghast + Lyzolda, the Blood Witch , Bloodsoaked Champion + Lyzolda, the Blood Witch , Lyzolda, the Blood Witch + Squee, Goblin Nabob

• Rack and discard effects: The Rack + Shrieking Affliction + Nezumi Shortfang + Thoughtseize + Duress + Inquisition of Kozilek

Some Observations:

• It might be better with Tymaret, the Murder King at the helm. That would grant reliable access to a 3rd recursive beater in Gravecrawler but we'd exchange Lyzolda's draw and damage engine for Tymaret's cheaper, non-discriminatory damage engine.
