So Ravenous Baboons are the only red creature with subtype monkey, unless we also include Kari Zev, Skyship Raider's faithful sidekick Ragavan. But, that said, they will fly in this deck as soon as Homura, Human Ascendant transforms into Homura's Essence. All your creatures will fly, get +2/+2, and have fire-breathing.

So my thought behind this deck is to be merciless to creatures without flying. Not including lands, somewhere close to half the cards specifically damage creatures without flying. There are also a few cards to remove flying from opponents' creatures too, such as Phyrexian Splicer. Unfortunately, Gravity Sphere is on the reserved list. It would be perfect for this deck. Hopefully Wizards will invent a new card that basically does the same thing in the near future.

So the strategy is: 1) cast Homura; 2) get him killed; and then 3) cast everything else in the deck and smash your opponents and their puny groundling creatures.

Cheap and fun and reckless.
