So I made a bunch of changes to this deck after some disappointing games last night and hurried visit to my LGS this evening. In my initial plays i found that not being able to cast The Locust God quickly enough is really devastating to the way the deck plays. I dont want to be discarding a ton of card just to be able to find land to play him where i dont get any value from the wheel. To remedy this i added a bunch of the cheaper (value wise) mana rocks. Obviously there are much better ones available but for the time being they are out of my reach. This problem will also be alleviated once i can upgrade the mana base, again a budget issue.
The next change was to add more wheel effects that will allow me to draw many cards at once, and remove some of the counter spells that were too situational to be of much use anyway and i was finding that i didnt have the mana left over to be able to cast them on my opponents turn anyway.
Noticed a couple of cards which i'd like to hear opinions on. Found a Staff of Nin which would allow me an extra draw at my upkeep but feel it has quite a high mana cost for it. And also Farsight Mask which seems like a great card against aggro decks. Any advice?

That's an interesting idea, An artifact deck would work well with improvise, affinity & Vial Smasher, Paradox engine could make for some very interesting turns as well
This list is more focused on delve and x costed spells like Clan Defiance and Rakdos's Return, the artifact route may be better however. This isn't a hyper competitive list, but is more tuned for the power level of the decks in our play group.

So let's says that my commander Marath, Will of the Wild who has a mana cost of was sent back to the commander zone once and now has a cost of if i have Krosan Warchief on the field does it reduce the mana cost of my commander by 1 or not ??
With a card like Street Spasm what is the meaning of the like which is the damage done and what does the other mean

Ohman :) glaube da sind noch ein paar zu viele Karten in dem Deck oder?Es fllt mir auch etwas schwer eine klare Strategie zu finden. Soll es eine geben? Du spielst viel was Kontrolle ber Kreaturen bernimmt. Dann ist es dir aber auch wichtig das dein Comander TB bekommt. Reicht es nicht die Kreatur entweder zu tten oder zu kontrollieren? Beides ist m.e. doppelt gemoppelt :)Dein Comander ist der pure card draw. wieso spielst du noch so viele Spells und Kreaturen, die das auch machen?Comander decks sollten 99 Karten + Comander haben. Ich wei. am Kchentisch ist das meistens egal.. man kann sich aber wenigsens bemhen in die Richtung zu kommen.Allgemein finde ich Planeswalker im Comander decks immer kritisch. bis zu ihrer Ulti solltest du die eh nie bekommen.Die die du spielst schieen schaden und ziehen karten (macht dein Comander genau so gut) du SOlltest auf jeden fall Thornbite Staff spielen. zusammen mit tb killst damit viel schei. Willbreaker passt doch zu 111 % in das deck :)Spiel ne Hand voll blauer defender, denen du schaden schieen kannst um karten zu ziehen. Wirf deine ganzen spot removal raus (das macht dein comander fr dich...)Consecrated Sphinx geil aber lame, solltest auch so genug karten ziehen :)Blue Sun's Zenith unntigArcanis the Omnipotent genug draw...Street Spasm effekt von deinem comander..Cryptic Command 25$ :)Vedalken Shackles kaum islands....Beguiler of Wills passt noch rein :)

Lash Out is probably my favourite budget burn spell for lists like this, but I've found Flame Jab/Geistflame/Burning Vengeance to be a fun package for ultra-budget burn making use of the discards and filtering lands. I'm a fan of Electrickery/Inflame, Earthquake, Firespout, Slagstorm, Street Spasm, Pyroclasm, Kindle the Carnage, Volcanic Fallout, Martyr of Ashes for crowd control. Fiery Gambit, Incendiary CommandThe big thing with budget lists is always sideboard- Aura Barbs, Boil, Empty the Warrens, Ingot Chewer, Molten Rain, Rending Volley, Roast, Shattering Spree, Weight of Spires, Sudden Shock, Smash to Smithereens Tormod's Crypt, Dragon's Claw, Bottle Gnomes and Shattering Blow can all find their place. Burst Lightning is a cheap shock upgrade and Furnace Scamp can be more efficient than a bolt if you are removing blockers. Unstable Footing/Wild Slash is pretty useful for that final push.

I say if you have lots of red/white sac outlets, and obviously ways to copy Avacyn, you could deal 21 damage to each opponent with 7 blinks. I think your goal should be to do that as fast as you can.
