In this deck, creatures get big. Very big. The majority of creatures in this deck take advantage of +1/+1 counters in one way or another, either by continuously getting bigger (Forgotten Ancient, Chasm Skulker) or by using them for various benefits (Sporeback Troll, Fertilid, Retribution of the Ancients). And as they grow, they gain a variety of other buffs that make them even more dangerous, until they're ready to smash and crush everything in their path.
