There is a saying that I came across a couple of years ago that I rather liked. It goes as follows: "the ancestors may annoy you, but don't make the mistake of annoying them back, or they may annoy you forever". It stuck with me for a while and then I came across this Nightmare Insect whose deck seemed to embody this saying quite well. Naturally, I could not resist trying my hand at it. As one may expect, in this case, Kathril makes sure that the ancestors will not simply annoy my opponent: the "ancestors" in the graveyard will help the creatures present on my board to stomp your face in by tapping into their power - or in this case the key words - and lending them to the "descendants". Use the graveyard and the dead to fuel and power up the ones "alive"; Kathril taps into the powers of gods, dinosaurs, vampires and snakes alike in order to keep the cycle going. It is a very simple concept for my doing, I admit.

I haven't been able to play test this yet due to pandemic factors, deck building mayhem and the fact I was looking for a job after graduating uni, but if any of you have made Kathril yourself, I would really like to know how you did it.
