These spells are a good start for any budget deck looking for effective burst card draw. (Burst card draw in this case is a single effect or spell that puts two or more cards into your hand. This can include effects such as sacrificing Yavimaya Elder.) This is not meant to be an all-inclusive list, but instead generically good sources of burst card draw. Additionally, this list does not deeply go into cards such as Fact or Fiction, Thirst for Knowledge, or Compulsive Research which have additional effects such as stocking the graveyard, cycling effects (Dusk Legion Zealot, Elvish Visionary), sacrifice effects (Corpse Augur, Disciple of Bolas), shared draw (Prosperity), tribal draw (Champion of Dusk), or incremental draw effects such as Chandra, Fire Artisan and Outpost Siege. This list mostly only covers putting cards directly into your hand with little or no drawback.

Generally, every card on the list can be picked up easily $2 or less. Some exceptions are cheap enough at the moment that they should still be considered for budget players.
