Once upon a time, I had a mono-blue 60-card deck designed to steal anything and everything it could. It was fairly inconsistent because it was nearly a singleton deck, and its average mana cost was pretty high, so I eventually scrapped it. When I found EDH, I knew I had to build it again, as the format solved both of my problems. The singleton nature of the deck was no longer a problem because everyone's deck would be singleton, and the high mana cost was fine because Thada Adel exists and nearly everyone runs Sol Ring in their deck. Of course, that doesn't let me go hog-wild with the mana costs in the deck, but EDH is a bit slower on the whole and overall the deck's been performing well.

The game plan is to find a win condition with someone else's deck, as you have none of your own. Big fliers on their own won't cut it in EDH, and Thada Adel is unlikely to get in enough times for lethal.
