Urza's Bauble

Artifact

Tap, Sacrifice Urza s Bauble: Look at a card at random in target player's hand. You draw a card at the beginning of the next turn's upkeep.

Thanks, Rogue's Passage definitely looks useful for a giant Broodstar or Master of Etherium.

As for combos, the big one is probably Chakram Retriever + Emry, Lurker of the Loch or Emry, Lurker of the Loch + Mirran Spy . You can tap Emry to cast an artifact from your graveyard, then immediately untap her to do it again. With a 0-cost sacrificible artifact like Urza's Bauble, you can do this as much as you want, which triggers things like Sai, Master Thopterist and Efficient Construction every time the artifact comes into play. You can also sacrifice Ornithopter to Ashnod's Altar repeatedly this way for infinite mana. Foundry Inspector, Etherium Sculptor and Jhoira's Familiar make more of your artifacts cheap or free so you can recur them more. You can even make Solemn Simulacrum cheap enough this way to sacrifice it to Ashnod's Altar and cast it again with the mana you get, repeating for as much land and card draw as you want.

The deck doesn't rely on infinite combos or anything, and even a simple trick like Aether Spellbomb + Emry, Lurker of the Loch can let you bounce a troublesome creature at least once per turn. A lot of the stuff in here is maybe more just good synergy than true combos.

I play Urza's Bauble and Mishra's Bauble in my build for some cost draw spells. Grismold, the Dreadsower is good for making sure your opponents always have some meaningless creatures to kill and trigger Glissa. I don't run it myself, but I've heard good things about Bolas's Citadel.

Spray bottles typically help.

So does Urza's and Mishra's Baubles.

You should update this deck format to be either Casual or Legacy. It’s not Modern legal as you have both Brainstorm and Urza's Bauble, which aren’t modern-legal cards.

-1 Underground Sea is asking for trouble to cast the key black cards. This type of deck can struggle against Wasteland + Null Rod decks, relying on Mox Opal and 1 Underground Sea is not where you want to be.

-Thassa's Oracle does not belong in the deck whatsoever and neither does Noxious Revival. You are already packing Tendrils of Agony and Time Vault which are much more suited to the deck. Noxious Revival is just worse than Snapcaster Mage especially in a deck with Paradoxical Outcome

-Seat of the Synod is usually only played to make Thoughtcast / Thought Monitor viable. It makes the deck super soft to Null Rod effects.

-Urza, Lord High Artificier is okayish but worse than Monastery Mentor or Tinker>Sphinx of the Steel Wind. Also, Urza's Bauble is pretty bad in Vintage.

TheVectornaut no worries about timing. There's no rush to build a good deck. I'm just glad to hear from you. Based on your descriptions I think the second option is where I want to go with this deck, but with some added self-mill so I can really build up options for osgir quickly. Here are some cards that are on the way that I am most likely going to add soon: Phyrexian Triniform (big creature that may work better than triplicate titan), Rings of Brighthearth (4 tokens instead of two with osgir), Blinkmoth Urn(big mana), Goblin Engineer (sac and tutor in one), Zirda, the Dawnwaker(more mana help) and Leonin Abunas (protection). I also am pretty sure I will get Coveted Jewel, Basalt Monolith, Jhoira's Familiar (mana help), Grinning Totem, Kuldotha Forgemaster, Oswald Fiddlebender (tutors), Urza's Bauble (draw). I think if I get these and drop the ones in the sideboard section the deck would have increased mana efficiency, more tutors, and overall just stronger. The last piece I think would be a Mesmeric Orb, Grinding Station, or Keening Stone to fill up faster because the current GY fill cards are just lacking. Let me know if you think these are good choices out of the maybe board to snag. Ill try to playtest the deck a bit more online to see as well. Thanks!

Mana Tithe is a white counterspell that you might find appealing. There's also Lapse of Certainty and Rebuff the Wicked .

For draw, I'd add Ichor Wellspring . Drawing two cards and being a good two-mana stepping stone towards your combo pieces is pretty great. Other cards that come to mind for a combo deck like this are Mind Stone , Lightning Greaves , Illusionist's Bracers , Phyrexian Revoker , Crashing Drawbridge . Treasure Vault can give you infinite sac tokens/colored mana. You also might want to add Urza's Bauble and Mishra's Bauble .
