A commander deck with Vilis, Broker of Blood . Somewhat being based off of the popular strategy of "suicide black", this deck focuses on paying a cost: Paying life to draw out your deck and get complete card advantage over your opponent. You can pay mana to Vilis to whittle down your opponent's creatures while also drawing cards, or control the board by using your removal spells on your opponent's creatures. Psychosis Crawler can inflict a ton of damage to your opponent if you are able to go off and draw a bunch of cards with either Vilis or your other spells.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel can also help you you to stay alive while also fueling you back up to continue to draw more cards. There are ways to keep Vilis alive throughout the game, such as the ever famous Swiftfoot Boots but also including other forms of protection such as deck:Demonic Vigor, Supernatural Stamina , and Undying Evil .
