Your optimal hand can get kind of crazy pretty fast. T1 Forest or Stomping Ground into Birds of Paradise, T2 land drop into Sarkhan, Fireblood and then +1 for the mana or for discard if you really need to exchange something out (this is more so to +1 him up). T3 with this combo you can play a Dragonlord's Servant followed by a +1 Sarkhan for 2R into a Thunderbreak, or if you don't want to leave 1 mana up for a possible Dispel , Spell Pierce , or etc, then you can actually T3 either Glorybringer , Stormbreath Dragon , or Demanding Dragon .

This leaves you tapped out, but the options are pretty strong, especially if you're playing against a white deck to counter Path's via Stormbreath. This is all based on the most optimal hand of course, but even just getting your big things out gives you the ability to have a big flyer for damage and beefy blocks in general. This deck falls prey to removal pretty hard, but let me tell you the look of surprise on people's faces when you're the new guy in town, playing a Temur deck as they're confused already, then drop dragons on them, AND m Mana Leak something. No one that hasn't played the deck previously ever expects the mana leak on top of all else, and their faces will forever feed my soul. XD

For obvious reasons this list falls prey to a lot of things fairly easily, and most likely won't actually do well in a GP due to its nature. I'd love to take it though if I afford all on this list, but it's still the most enjoyable deck I've ever played. While this is a list of 75 cards, I always bring extra Dispel's, Spell Pierce's and the like for counters depending on what I see at my LGS before tourney starts.

This deck has been through the ringer and had quite a bit of changes to it. Most recently, I added in Scalding Tarn s and Misty Rainforest s to help with fetch lands and to better mana fix yourself for counterspells and etc. While this is the optimal decklist for this deck (mainly), it isn't all I'm currently running but an optimal version that one day maybe I'll buy for a GP if it actually does extremely well. The only thing I'm currently missing are the Scalding Tarn's and the Misty Rainforest's, as well as the Chalice's. CI have them swapped for basic mountain/forest/islands and have Damping Sphere s in SB to "replace" Chalice, though it isn't the same..I have recently stumbled upon Demanding Dragon and its usefulness for the either 5-damage bolt on ETB it does, or the fact that it can force removal on cards that an opponent really doesn't want to sac on T3/T4. The main focus of this deck is to get your Glorybringer 's out and exert for removal if necessary, or also Demanding Dragon / Stormbreath Dragon .

As it stands, I also have Chandra, Torch of Defiance as the original Planeswalker this deck had before I found Sarkhan, Fireblood . I also have toyed around with Arlinn Kord   as a joke because obviously, but also because her +1 has crazy synergy with my Glorybringers, as you can exert without repercussion and it hits for a bonus 2. I haven't messed around with her and the synergy she might have with Demanding Dragon , but a potential 5 bolt to the face followed by a 7/7 flyer swinging without tapping for 12 damage in 1 go is f**king WILD, but won't happen as quickly as with Sarkhan.

I've put my blood, sweat, and tears into this deck as is, it's come a LONG way, and if you're looking for a goofy Modern Temur dragons deck that's relatively cheap, I can send you my original and basic as it gets list that went for about $300-$320 (mainly because Stomping Grounds and Wooded Foothills). Some cards are very interchangeable (IE Heroic Intervention , Damping Sphere , Whiplash Trap , and even the Planeswalkers being in there in general) and honestly this list gives you a lot to work with. I'm a bit of a newer player so obvious choices for counters/removal/etc aren't always known to me, but the other thing is budget...Fetch/shock lands are the most expensive cards on this list and half the reason it costs so much, and limit me from playing the best version of a Modern Dragons deck you can get lol.

*WITH ALL OF THAT BEING SAID, (sorry for the novel, prof.) I hope you reach out with any suggestions, or give me any and all constructive criticism and/or advice and alternatives for Planeswalkers, counterspells, removal/SB tac. that you can think might improve. I hope you enjoy the list, and maybe surprise someone at your LGS with shit shtstorm of confusion sometime. ;)

Updates Add

Had some suggestions to throw in Growth Spirals, they also suggested these go in place of the Dragonlord's Servants I had, will playtest to see how it goes. Also replaced Mana Leak with Silumgar's Scorns, because it's better for late game. Threw in a few Draconic Roar's and also a Steel card:Hellkite; while I feel the Hellkite isn't the best, it's X ability can be powerful. Will need to playtest heavily to see how it feels.
