Syr Konrad the G is the mill, the graveyard, and the sacrifice. He is the answer to all you seek in mono black's vast repertoire of foul play. We will be utilizing the graveyard to fuel Syr Konrad the G's ability. We can and we will dump mana into his secondary ability and mill everyone. While milling and dealing and sacing and retrieving, the tucked away eldrazi titan should help us recur our entire graveyard to deck. Kozilek, Butcher of Truth reaches its ultimate form when it meets a Morality Shift. With Kozilek in the deck, we can Shift, causing mass damage from Syr Konrad the G. Kozilek will shuffle the new graveyard back to deck to do it all over again. A thing of beauty.

Syr Konrad the G is great at many things, but what he excels in most is Mindcrank. Especially when coupled with a Mesmeric Orb. The game is nigh over when those cards align. The deck runs a few combos with Syr Konrad the G. Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and the Basalt Monolith combo are among my favorite.

This version is built to utilize Syr Konrad the G as much as possible, gaining as much value and momentum as we can. Even if the deck doesn't win (which isn't often) Syr Konrad the G is a very fun and interactive deck to pilot. Overall, no matter how Syr Konrad the G is built, he is super fun to play and to see the mechanics click together with mill, graveyard, and hand is amazing.

Currently running with this build as opposed to when he was cEDH. My favorite deck--been playing him since his release in Throne of Eldraine (c. 2019) ... ahh those were some golden times ... Best mono black IMO.
