Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter may not be the most popular choice for a token commander, but she packs a punch. Oviya, is a fun and unique token deck that goes both wide and tall. She is pretty similar to the more popular Selesnya token commander Rhys the Redeemed. They both cost only one mana, which I've found to be sneaky good because it's hard for people to make them cost too much to cast. Oviya has an additional toughness, which makes her harder for decks running pingers to deal with than Rhys. They both make a 1/1 for three mana, and have another more expensive ability. Rhys is strong because he can make MANY tokens, and of different types, helping your army go wide fast. Oviya on the other hand, can only make one token, but a huge one. With a Seedborn Muse, Tendershoot Dryad, Illusionist's Bracers, etc, she provides any army of enormous constructs. Give those robots trample, baby, you got a stew going.
