This is my current Meren, of Clan Nel Toth deck, mostly leaning sacrifice, but does have some golgari goodstuff.

Main combos:

• Spore Frog with Meren of Clan Nel Toth out becomes free fog every turn and free experience counters.

• Butcher of Malakir or Dictate of Erebos with Tergrid, God of Fright   means that once one creature dies, I get a new one from each player! This also triggers Revel in Riches for some treasure tokens. Grave Betrayal also fills the role of Tergrid.

• Living Death + Tergrid, God of Fright   is just nasty, plus it triggers Revel in Riches for some treasures. Grave Betrayal also fills the role of Tergrid.

• In Garuuk's Wake is great with Revel in Riches as it makes people unable to do much about the treasure tokens. With Grave Betrayal all of those creatures also become mine.

• Fiend Artisan enables many of these creature based combos as a reusable tutor and a sacrifice outlet.

Available sacrifice outlets:

• Fiend Artisan tutor attached.

• Carrion Feeder gets bigger but can also sacrifice itself.

• Hell's Caretaker this only works on upkeep but can bring a creature back from your graveyard.

• Phyrexian Plaguelord this can kill other people's things but is usually used more as an outlet.

• Priest of Forgotten Gods this is great, because it gives you mana, draws you cards, and forces someone else to sacrifice creatures as well.

• Whisper, Blood Liturgist similar role as Hell's Caretaker but a little less efficient. However, it can be done at any time in the turn, not just at upkeep.
