Fun with Orvar's copy ability and color-word-changing some good hate cards in blue. Orvar as commander makes the well known combo of

• Ghostly Flicker / Displace / Illusionist's Strategem +
• Peregrine Drake / Great Whale +
• Arcaheomancer / Mnemonic Wall / Mystic Sanctuary.

Because now, using only Orvar plus the above three cards you can make infinite clone drakes and spell-returning creatures. For every cycle you clone a spell-returning creature instead of the drake, you also get to return a different instant or sorcery from the grave in addition to the blink spell.

Once you have infinite creatures and mana you can, if available in hand or grave, use various means including those above for turning infinite mana into drawing your library so you can shut down what your opponents are doing and protect your infinite creatures. Maybe even win immediately with a lab man effect if that's appropriate for the group you play with.

Good blue color hosers like hibernation, chill, dream tides, and hydroblast are OK alone an great combined with color-word changing spells that target spells or permanents. And the hack/sleight spells are good with Orvar because they are cheap and don't require the target mention a color or land type in their text .Remember, when you color-word change enchantments with Orvar out you get a clone of the original enchantment with the original color word along side your newly-edited version. Pretty good with Chill and Dream Tides.
