The idea behind this deck first and foremost is to play rats and have some fun, your friends will never see the plague coming!

With that being said this deck has two main wincons that you can tutor out with Sidisi, Undead Vizier , this is why she is our commander instead of Marrow-Gnawer . In the event that you are being targeted too much from the start because of Sidisi being your commander, the deck works very well with Marrow-Gnawer as your commander too.

Option 1: You can tutor for thrumming stone so you can pull all of the relentless rats out of the deck and pound each of your opponents

Option 2: If your unsure that you can beat out your opponents, you can tutor for Contamination to gridlock your opponents. Make sure you have some creatures out to sacrifice to keep contamination on the field, this pairs very well with Marrow-Gnawer

Option 3: So the worst happened, our opponent exiled or destroyed our beloved Thrumming Stone or all of our relentless rats have been exiled or are sitting in our graveyard. So in response to this, they will die to rat plague part 2! This deck actually contains an infinite combo that includes Marrow-Gnawer and Thornbite Staff . Having both on the field equip it to Marrow-Gnawer and as long as you have three rats on the battle field (this can include Marrow Gnawer) you can create infinite rats off of Marrow-Gnawers ability
