Maybeboard

Linvala, Shield of the Sea Gate is one of three party-matters commanders from ZNR. She has two abilities:

1) If you have a full party, at the beginning of combat on your turn she can "detain" a nonland permanent an opponents controls until your next turn (meaning it won't be able to attack, block, or activate abilities).

2) You can sacrifice her and give all your creatures either hexproof or indestructible.

Since Azorius are sort of the police of Magic, she is very on-theme: She puts public danger on lockdown and she gives her life to protect others. At least, that's what cops are supposed to do.

Anyway, she might not be the most exciting commander, but the party theme is interesting. I like the idea of a multi-tribal deck. The only way to really pull that off is with changeling creatures, so this deck runs as many as it can.

The rest of the creatures, with the exception of Celestial Kirin are all clerics, rogues, warriors, or wizards. But many of them are tribal-matters creatures, giving benefits to your changelings for sure, and sometimes to other creatures, whether any of the party classes or things like merfolk or humans.

Since Linvala is basically board-wipe protection, and there are actually a few other ways to make your creatures indestructible, the deck is all-in on the aggro plan. Cast creatures. Lockdown threats. Attack. Attack. Attack.

Looks fun and super cheap!
