From the moment I started playing EDH/Commander, I wanted to make a deck revolving around multiplayer. Mono Black had some fun combos I had to put together, not to mention I just love hand control in all trading card games I play. It was all innocent fun until it turned into "that asshole deck that doesn't let me have a hand while it has it's way with my Life Total..."

The dominating combo (outside of the win conditions) is [ Geth's Grimoire + Words of Waste ]. Either by sparking a discard on one player, or drawing a single card, causes a massive discard of all opponents as well as maxing out your hand size.

I didn't want to run any infinite combos at first, but the [ Magus of the Coffers + Umbral Mantle ] just caught my eye as ingenious, and an easy follow through if necessary.

The win conditons include damage dealing or life loss based off of [ Wound Reflection + Quietus Spike or Pestilence or Sorin Markov or Repay in Kind or Blood Tribute or Exsanguinate (my personal favorite is Temporal Extortion) ] and so on.

The remainder of the deck is either search cards or ramping. The only problems I ever have, and I guess I've tried to remedy it, is that you really can't start moving anything unless you have 4+ lands in your opening hand, you are otherwise screwed for the rest of the game.
