• Introduction:

These are the monster under the bed you were warned about.

  • The deck:

This is a "big, big mana" deck. You will use Kruphix as a a bank and store ungodly amounts of mana and power extremely powerful draw spells, to find your main win conditions, the eldrazi trinity. You also have several other wincons that show the power over time and matter that the eldrazi endbringer should have, like the Epic spells, that act as win condition (specially card:eternal domain ) and you have another win condition in the act of milling: you can use an overcarged blue sun's zenith to win via Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or just outright mill someone out: the Dimensional Infiltrator can also act as milling machine.

This deck is all about the big mana. Kruphix acts as a bank to store it, and as such is extremely valuable and the glue that makes the deck work. With all the mana Kruphix can generate over time you will even be able to activate the Spawnsire of Ulamog 20 mana ability, and I've actually witnesses someone reach their eldrazi collection and pull over 30 + cards for the ultimate epic win.

  • The deck's weaknesses:

As a very, very grindy deck we will have problems when dealing with extremely aggressive decks, so we have to rely on politics and counter-magic on the early game if we don't want to risk our mana dorks. Kruphix is a strong blocker but most of the time he won't be active anyways, so do not rely on him as a creature.

  • The deck's strengths:

The Endgame is ours. We will be the single most powerful deck on the late game, with some very rare exceptions, and we have many ways to win. Choose the easiest one and if it fails choose another one. You won't lack win conditions when playing this deck.
