Get in, get out, break stuff!

So, yeah! Krenko!

There will be goblin tokens. So many goblin tokens. What will we do with those? If nothing else, Krenko will create a sizeable army on his own if not dealt with quickly. It's not uncommon to simply go wide and overwhelm the field. Just keeping Krenko on the field will win... eventually.

Which is where the lord effects come in. Goblin King , Goblin Chieftain , Adaptive Automaton , Coat of Arms , Hall of Triumph , and Quest for the Goblin Lord all turn these wimpy tokens into actual threats.

If shenanigans make combat impractical or impossible, there are a couple outs built in.
Hellrider is a neat trick as long as you can still declare attackers. You can often remove a player without repercussion.
Purphoros, God of the Forge , and Impact Tremors need you to only have the tokens ETB to cause damage. Altar of the Brood mills them out in the same way.
If the hate gets so bad you can't even hit ETBs, Burn at the Stake , Goblin War Strike , Throne of the God-Pharaoh , Goblin Bombardment , and Kyren Negotiations let your goblins do damage just for showing up.
